Tastes Great!
As an avid fitness enthusiast, I have tried numerous protein powders over the years, and I must say that Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey stands out for several compelling reasons.Firstly, the taste is exceptional. Unlike many other protein powders that have a chalky aftertaste, this product offers a smooth and enjoyable flavor that makes it easy to drink. Whether you choose the classic Double Rich Chocolate or the refreshing Vanilla Ice Cream, you won’t be disappointed. The mixability of this protein powder is also worth noting. It blends seamlessly with water, milk, or any other beverage, leaving no clumps or residue. This is particularly beneficial for those who are always on the go and need a quick and convenient way to consume their protein. In terms of nutritional content, Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey provides 24 grams of high-quality protein per serving, which is ideal for muscle building and recovery. The inclusion of BCAAs (Branched-Chain Amino Acids) further enhances its effectiveness, helping to reduce muscle soreness and improve overall recovery time after intense workouts. Moreover, the low sugar and fat content make this protein powder a suitable choice for those who are mindful of their macros. It supports a lean muscle gain while keeping unnecessary calories at bay.One aspect that sets this protein powder apart is its digestibility. I have a sensitive stomach, and many protein supplements have caused discomfort in the past. However, I have experienced no such issues with Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey, which is a testament to its high-quality ingredients and careful formulation. Finally, the value for money is impressive. Given the quality and effectiveness of this product, it offers excellent bang for your buck, especially when purchased in larger quantities. In conclusion, Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey Muscle Building and Recovery Protein Powder is a top-tier choice for anyone looking to enhance their fitness regimen. Its great taste, superior mixability, and impressive nutritional profile make it a reliable and effective supplement for achieving your muscle-building and recovery goals.

Best tasting I've tried
It mixes so well & tastes great with skimmed milk. Doesn't give you gas like the cheaper ones can.

Whey of the Warrior
Having running out of whey the cheap old 2kg tub I bought from the local gym, I decided to opt for the ON brand after multiple recommendations for it on fitness forums. At first glance I found it to be very expensive for what it really is - I mean it's just a by-product of the cheese-making process.I bit the bullet and paid for it anyway, and after it came in the post I tried it with milk as a post workout shake and it was REALLY delicious; the strawberry flavour was quite rich and sweet and reminded me somewhat of something that I would order at a milkshake bar/restaurant/whatever. Pretty nice as far as taste is concerned. Notable this shake is Aspartame-free and gets its sweetness through the addition of Sucralose instead (which is objectively less harmful to the body and significantly more appealing than E-coli poop). The powder can be mixed easily with water or milk and I'd recommend blending it because this stuff tends to get quite lumpy when moisture is added. But this stuff is great for a post-workout protein boost and blends well with other ingredients like rolled oats and peanuts for example.I've made great gains with this product alongside other protein sources but I'm positive that the absorption rate and sheer protein content of this powder beats everything else that I've tried before. In summary: Great taste, good quality whey that's a little on the expensive side.

Best whey protein on the market
Best whey protein on the market. Not as cheap as it used to be but you can't beat it for its nutritional value. Uses mostly whey Isolate so better absorbed quicker I believe. Started out using maximuscle when I walked into a GNC store as it was recommended by the sales assistant (everyone first does it) Then used USN and PHD for abit. I was then recommended this by a friend and have been using it for the last 2 years. You get 24g of protein per scoop. I think the scoop itself is 31g. Around 4g glutamine and 5g Bcaas(There are more values but you can read the label). This is better nutrition compared to other products I have used where the ratio of scoops used to the protein it packed was not great. I usually always get the delicious strawberry flavour as I didn't quite like the taste of double rich chocolate. The whey mixes really well and you can even stir it (that's how well it mixes). It tastes great with both water and milk(I take with water 90% of time). Can't complain as it does what it's supposed to when accompanied with a good diet and exercise.

A little pricey but well worth it
Gold Standard Whey Protein is one of the best, if not the best, protein powders available. The protein content is better than most, it tastes decent and shakes well with no horrible lumps. If you can afford it, go for it. It is on the pricier side but you get what you pay for, especially when it comes to shakes.I've tried loads of alternatives over the years but this beats everything hands down for quality and content. Cheaper powders give me wind, often leave a manky aftertaste, and don't have anywhere near as much protein per scoop. I recently joined a gym again for the first time in nearly 15 years and decided to go for this after lots of research. MaxiMuscle was my go-to protein shake back then but I decided to try Gold Standard this time and wouldn't go back to anything else.

Tastiest Protein Shake
I’ve had plenty of brands previously, all of which were good but the versatility of ON protein shakes is what I love as well as the taste.Taste is fantastic, feels like I’m having a strawberry milkshake, but I also use it for my overnight oats. That coupled with skyr strawberry ends up giving me about 65g of Protein in one serving and the taste is fantastic.Don’t get me wrong, the strawberry isn’t the only good tasting one, I really enjoy the banana one as well but doesn’t go as well with overnight oats.I find that it can be a bit too thick though using milk so I tend to use it with almond milk or skimmed milk as it’s a bit smoother.
