Quay Furniture Set Woodcraft Construction Kit FSC

I really enjoyed building these sweet little pieces of furniture. They are 1/24 scale and fit my dollhouse with 4-1/2" to 5" tall rooms. You WILL need glue. The piece of sandpaper that came with the kit was rediculously small. You'll need more (very fine) sandpaper since most of the pieces will have a few rough edges once you punch them out, plus some legs will need to be sanded down so the piece will sit level. As for how easy to punch, some were easy-peasy, and others were very fiddly, mostly because it seems the manufacturer's die punch must have needed to be sharpened. Some of the pieces got a bit damaged trying to punch them out, and I was EXTREMELY careful. I was very disappointed with the bathroom pieces, especially the bathtub... not very well designed. I'm going to have to buy a separate bathroom set. I also was not pleased with the sofa, but I've cut out some foam pieces to make a larger, padded sofa. I would have also rather had a refrigerator, washer and dryer rather than the outdoor lounger set, so I'll have to source those items as well as a decent bathroom. I would recommend keeping all the little pieces you've punched out. I managed to craft a little computer and several shelves and other items for around the house out of the waste pieces, including the tiny round pieces which I glued to a button to make a realistic looking plate of scones. The set is a great value for the money. This set is for our five-year-old granddaughter's Christmas gift.

Great set! I got it for my kids to go with their playmobil people. Fits nicely. The bathtub is a little too narrow for the adults and without modification the rocking chair will tip over when one of them sit in it. The chairs are a tight fit, but still fit. It's a product well worth the money and a lot of fun. Fun to assemble and the directions are easy enough to follow. My 4 year old helped with the easier stuff like the chairs and tables, and enjoyed it. When it was time to put together the bookcase and stove he lost his patience and left the room. If you're not a crafty person and don't have any time and energy for crafts, this is probably not for you - just spend the extra money and buy the playmobil furniture or whatever people you're gonna use this for, but I enjoyed putting it together and seeing the different kinds of furniture come together. Now my son loves playing with it.

Bought this for a two yr old girl but the 5yr old boy got great fun out of it also. Instructions were the easiest instructions to follow out of any build yourself item i have ever bought. every piece had a number and it slotted in to its equal. i put all furniture together in one hour and i must admit i thoroughly enjoyed it. i deducted 1 star for the simple fact that you need glue although this was not stated on the seller description. a small piece of sandpaper comes with it to take of rough edges so perfect considering little hands are playing with it. press doors open and close and makes item more enjoyable to play with. you can also paint them but do buy good quality paints, item looks good natural aswell. do buy as the kids have gotten hours of enjoyment and i have gotten hours of peace.all in all with the exception of needing glue item is brilliant.

Got this set out during the summer holidays to put together with the grand children. We were all impressed: the peices popped out easily and were easy to handle. The 11 year old cracked on and assembled the more complicated peices, the 7 year old managed the simpler items, but didn’t have the concentration for anything more complex, however both enjoyed painting and playing with what they made. I enjoyed it too but as I need new glasses, I struggled a bit with the enclosed diagrams! Altogether great value art project for a rainy day, especially for the 11 year old who happily spent most of the day engaged with it all, and said the next day how much she enjoyed herself!

I ended up a little disappointed with this kit, but shouldn't, because of the price. sheet one was brilliant and all the pieces popped out easy and went together well, but it all started going down-hill from then on. pieces started to break easy because they hadn't been cut properly at the factory and I even started to get pieces that weren't lining up right. after breaking pieces that wouldn't come out properly, I ended up having to buy another yet to make replacements, which I shouldn't need to do. that said, when everything goes to plan and the parts are glued together, these do look rather nice, so are clearly good value in that respect. if these are going to be played with, then I recommend gluing these together as I have anyway. my only issue which I`ve yet to discover, I have the matching house to build yet and I`m convinced this furniture will be too big for it, but we`ll see! so for £9.99, I think this kit is pretty good, but expect to break a few pieces!!

I got this for my grandchildrens' (2 and 4) dolls house. Furniture Set - Woodcraft Construction Kit I thought they might be able to help with the assembly before I saw the kit but the construction really is for an older, more dextrous child, say 8 onwards. Having said that, I had a great two days putting all the items together. I glued everything so that they'd stand up to the rigours of small children. There's some fantastic items: a wooden sink, anyone? Or a rocking horse? There's even a piano! It is fiddly, you do need to keep an eye on the diagrams to start with, but eventually it all starts to make sense. It will be wonderful in the dolls house. Beware, it's slightly smaller than the standard 1/12th scale dolly house furniture, but my Babbies will love it. And it kept me off the streets for a couple of days. So all told, a wonderful set for children and grannies alike.

I will rate this as it is - you get a LOT but very cheap quality. All items break easily, wood chips and those that you manage to put together dismantle very easy if played with. If you only want these as models, that never get played with and stay on the shelve that is fine. This set has no play value - anyone will get annoyed because you touch it once and it goes to pieces. We glued some items and they lasted the longest but again, if you play with it the wood breaks. This is not good for dolls house. Certainly not good for Sylvanian families, as the furniture (chairs) is too small for the figures. If you have older child or like constructing things it might entertain you for good 3-4 hours. To me it became an annoyance after 45 mins because most of the items are countless number of chairs or tables.

It's cheap, and it comes with few instructions. Still, not too hard to assemble beyond some sore fingers. I was thinking about decorating one or two items but I doubt I will. It'll be very fiddly and I don't think it would improve the look of the pieces much. Some pieces are better than others... The bath is dreadful, and it was pretty difficult to push in the cupboard handles. Some pieces also snapped as I was trying to push them out of the sheet, and numerous pieces tore a little strip of wood away from the main piece. My main issue is that I bought this to go along with some Sylvanian families toys and it's all too small. I'll use some bits but quite a few are headed for the bin. Moral of the story is not to get something cheap in lieu of what I really wanted.

Super et très simple de suivre le manuel de montage mais il faut être un peu délicat pour détacher et emboîter les pièces qui sont fragiles.

Fáciles de montar, y abundantes en cantidad. Lo peor, el precio, los que venden en establecimientos chinos son imitaciones de este visto lo visto y después de montar uno y otro, eso si, valen una quinta parte.

Das Miniaturmöbel-Set wurde schnell geliefert. Es besteht aus dünnen Holzplatten. Die Möbelteile können einfach herausgedrückt werden. Anschließend steckt man die Einzelteile eines Möbels zusammen. Fertig! Da hier und da das Holz etwas rau sei kann, liegt dem Paket ein Stück feines Sandpapier bei. Beim Herausdrücken der Bauteile sollte auf kleine spitze Splitter geachtet werden. Das ist jedoch m.E. kein Makel, sondern aufgrund des Materials unvermeidlich. Die Möbel sind schnell zusammengebaut und schauen gut aus. Die Holzmöbel können bei Bedarf noch lackiert, gebeizt oder anderweitig gestaltet werden.

Excellent. Arrived quickly and quality is very nice. It is sturdy and pieces pop out easily with no rough edges.
