Professional Gel Nail Kit (Core) – Grande LED Nail Lamp

I've been doing my own gel nails at home for a while now, and this kit has everything I need. It's a fantastic starter set, but it's also great if you already enjoy doing your nails yourself. The LED lamp cures the gel quickly, and the polishes apply smoothly with a lovely glossy finish. The base and top coat help the manicure last really well. My nails stayed looking fresh for over two weeks without noticeable chipping, which is impressive. I also like that the kit includes several gel polish shades, so you can create different looks without buying extra products straight away. The instructions are easy to follow, making the whole process simple even if you're new to gel nails. Overall, this kit offers excellent value for money. Being able to achieve salon-quality results at home saves both time and money, and the long-lasting finish makes it even better. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys doing their own nails.

This kit is great for these current times when you can’t get to a salon to have your nails done! I got the one without the cuticle pusher and buffers (I already have the cuticle pusher) so I bought some cheap buffer blocks separately. The kit is really easy to use as the instructions are very easy to follow. So far I have tried the darkest of the colours included (love!) and the lightest colour (wasn’t as much as a fan, but that’s because I have pale skin so light colours don’t really look great on me). The one tip I would happily share is to base coat your whole nail, then when it comes to adding the first layer of colour, leave a good gap between the edge of the polish and the skin. It may look weird, but go with it. With the next layer, paint a bit closer to the skin (to seal the first layer of colour), still leaving a small gap between the paint and the skin. Do the same with the top coat (painting over all the edges of the colour so you seal it all in, including ‘capping’ the top edges of the nail) importantly so the top coat doesn’t go onto the skin. If you cure the top coat overlapping onto the skin, you will probably get lifting of the colour when general use of your hands will cause the top coat on your skin to catch, which may cause the whole layer of paint to lift and peel. Learn from my experience! However that was error on my part, nothing to do with the kit itself. Another thing I will mention is that the MyGel base and top coats included in the kit work fine with other brands of gel colours, as I have used both Shellac and Blue Sky colours with no adverse results.

So I’ve been having my nails done by the same technician every fortnight for the last 17 years but due to COVID-19 this had to stop. So my nails grew out and I bought a soak off kit to reveal my, fortunately healthy, nails. But I like painted nails but didn’t want the hassle of waiting for traditional varnish to dry. So I purchased this lamp. Firstly I did a bit of research and discovered LED lamps dry in seconds while UV lamps take minutes. This kit had everything I needed to do my nails. It arrived in good time, despite COVID-19, and tonight I’ve given it a test run. Instructions were simple to follow and lamp easy to use. My only critique would be it would be nice to have the timer buttons on the top instead of at the back, but it’s not a deal-breaker by any means. Cleansed nails with prep solution and lint free pads (all in this pack) and applied base coat. Cured for 30 seconds, applied 2 coats of colour again 30 seconds each. 2 coats more than adequate for good coverage. Top coat cured for 60 seconds, wiped clean with prep and finish solution and hey presto gel nails which look pretty amazing even if I say so myself. Good choice of colours in the kit, I opted to use the neutral colour first as I’m too rusty at painting my own nails to rush in with the gorgeous pink from the set. Early days using the kit and I can’t comment on the longevity but based on tonight’s nail session I can’t see me going back to paying for my nails fortnightly. I think for nail session two I’ll do one hand completely before moving into the second hand. Might be a bit easier for a novice like me. There are cheaper kits out there but you get what you pay for and by not going to my nail tech I’ll have paid for the kit inside of 2 months anyway.

Recently ordered the starter kit and decided to try it out today. Came boxed and presented very well. Came with most of what is needed (maybe could add a cuticle pusher and file although I did already have these I know not everyone does). I used to get my nails done every 4 weeks and was spending a fortune over time. I’ve been looking at different kits and chose this one after a lot of thought. The colours are gorgeous and go on beautifully, the whole kit was very easy to use with very simple easy instructions on the box. Now this is my first time attempting them myself so not the best job but the real test is time and how long they last, they don’t feel to thick and heavy, overall up to now I’m very happy with the product as a whole. XxX

I love this, I was unsure whether to spend the money, but went for it and liked the idea of the set that has most things, I brought some buffers, wooden cuticle pushers and cuticle remover in order to have everything I need. The first attempt it lasted 10 days, I used the medium colour and it was lovely, even with me being very busy and always doing things with my hands it lasted so well. Even when I have had gel polish done professionally it only tends to last a few days so this exceed what I have ever had before. The second and third time it did not last so long, the second time was the darkest colour and lasted 5 days, the nails that came off were where I got a little of the base coat on my skin so it lifted, the other nails did last longer so I could have redone the ones that came off and it would have lasted longer. The third time I really rushed as I was in a hurry, it was the lightest colour, that I am not so much a fan of (would look better with a nice tan), and it started to come off after 2 days, I then started to pick at the rest and unfortunately I have made my nails very weak in the process so for now I am applying strengthener to get my nails ready to have another go with the medium colour which is my favourite!!! The gel remover I am struggling to get to work well so I need to work on that more to avoid me picking it off and damaging my nails!! If you are sitting on the fence like I was, I would say if you can and you would use it, go for it, I have used it 3 times with varying success and already think I have pretty much made my moneys worth as to get gel polish done professionally it will cost £17 a time and I certainly have not had better results doing so.

This was my first purchase, trying to use gel polish on myself. I only had gel nails done on extensions at salons and so this kit was a punt on seeing what could be done at home. The kit includes: - prep solution that also removes tackiness after final cure - remover solution - set of wipes for the two above - 1 base coat, 1 top coat, 4 gel colours for nails - 1 LED lamp with 3 automatic time settings that plugs to wall (spare attachment plug adaptors for EU, etc) I used a CND gel polish so I can't speak for the Mylee coloured varnishes yet, but can confirm that the base coat and top coat that came with the kit worked as expected. The lamp was easy to install and I always worked with 60 seconds and it cures the nails fine at base coat, 2 colour layers and top coat. Don't forget to wipe the tacky residue once you cure the top coat (also mentioned in the instructions!) I got this whole kit on a black friday sale and I am mega happy with it! The only thing that is missing from the set imo is a nail file, but it is a really good starter purchase! I would recommend it for anyone trying to get setup for gel nails at home.

I live abroad and only have the chance to have a gel nail manicure when I'm back in the UK for a visit and can visit a salon. I ordered this kit to take abroad with me and I've used it 4 times so far, once for each of the supplied colours. This has everything you need in one box - I looked at piecing the bits together and it's not worth it. Just buy the kit. I was really lucky - I love all four of the colours that came with it. The very light baby pink one needs more coats than the others to make it a solid colour. I hadn't heard of this brand before buying so I was a bit wary that the polishes aren't a big name like gellish, CND, OPI etc. However, I've found them to be excellent quality and the brushes are really easy to work with. Having had gel nails done a lot in salons I already knew the technique and the dos and don'ts but the instructions in this kit are really clear. When using this kit I could get in excess of 10 days without chipping or peeling if it weren't for the fact that my nails grow so fast and I have to redo them for that reason. Some tips: always make sure the nail is completely free from any cuticle or skin bits, buff nails before painting, don't get any paint over skin or cuticles (if you do then remove it before curing the paint - you can use acetone to remove paint if necessary but it should just wipe off), don't use any oils or lotions before painting, better to have more thin layers than fewer thicker layers - build colour up gradually, cap the nail tip (i.e. paint the end of the tip and sides) on every layer, especially base and top coats. Finally, try not to move the colour around on the nail too much - brush it on evenly in as few strokes as possible and don't keep brushing over it. Considering I've had many bad salon gel manicures that have chipped and peeled after only a day or two, this kit is really good and I'd highly recommend it.

I wanted to try the box set few times before writing a review to be able to give an honest and complete feedback on the product. I wanted to have always cured and nice hands and nails, but didn’t know who to trust for that. I said, let’s try one set at home and then, if I’m not convinced, I will go to a salon. Honestly, I couldn’t be happier, I love the result so much. I started with the light pink, it lasted one week. The second time was the black one, and the pink is the fourth one. The longevity is improving more and more with the attempts, and I’m sure with a little bit more of practice it will last 2 weeks. It needs a little bit of work and practice, the procedure is really easy but it needs attention and cure. It was really easy for me because my mother used to do my nails, so I saw all her good practices and I know what to do and what to avoid. Not sure why some reviews say that it doesn’t stick, I honestly find it hard to remove at the end. The only thing I could say is that you can’t trust the colour of the gel from the pictures, at the end the results is really different from what you were expecting. But this is a common problem between the nails polish gel, I had with all the ones I tried. They are a bit pricey too, I would love some more sets of 3/4 to save some money.

This is my first kit and I'm very happy with it. All products included were enough to do my first gel, they work well together and my first one stayed for 3 weeks! It chipped only a little bit in 1 place despite the fact that I play hard sports 3 times a week & do all the normal household chores. It would probably last even longer but the nails just grew too long that it was noticeable + I got bored of 1 color & wanted a change. :-) What I wish it had is an instruction about exactly how many seconds you should cure a base coat, a color and a top coat on a thumb and on the rest of the fingers. It has some very high level instructions but no specifics considering this type of lamp, so I did a few of tries and made it work. It is important to indicate it though because you don't want to overdo it either. And finally, once you get this kit (I recommend it!), I suggest that you also order the clips for the gal nail polish removing instead of using foil. I ordered those separately and they are way more convenient than a foil. Enjoy! You'll save so much time on doing it yourself than going to a nail salon, even if you buy many more colors, like I already did. :-)

Prima volta che mi cimento in una manicure fai da te. Kit completo per un risultato molto soddisfacente. Previa manicure accurata e seguendo le semplici istruzioni, incluse , si ottiene quell’effetto vetro, tipico del semipermanente. Davvero una bella sorpresa, e di aiuto in questo periodo di quarantena/autoisolamento. Le 4 nuances di colori sono molto pigmentate, il nude più chiaro è un rosa quasi bianco con effetto gesso. Ho testato anche il gel remover, perfetto; facendo un impacco sulle unghie per 15/20 minuti lo smalto si toglie facilmente e velocemente. Soddisfattissima dell’acquisto. Spedizione Amazon sempre oltre le mie aspettative, il pacco in ottime condizioni è arrivato in anticipo di qualche giorno.

One bottle of gel was cracked, another was broken and the bottles of prep and remove were both almost empty like they had leaked or evaporated. So disappointing. Went to order a replacement and the price has increased so will have to pay more to replace the set at my own cost

Ce kit est vraiment génial ! Je peux faire ma manucure toute seule et j'économise mes séances chez l'esthéticienne. Rentabilité très rapide en quelques semaines. Je suis débutante et franchement très facile. Les produits ne sont pas agressifs on le sent bien et mes ongles ne sont pas abîmés quand je fais la dépose. Beaucoup de choix en couleurs j'en ai encore commandé ! Tenue parfaite 15 jours. Photo prise au bout de 1 semaine sans retouches. Je recommande ++

أصابني إحباط ف الواقع من بعض التعليقات، اول ماوصل فتحته خفت مسكوب بس طلع كل شي سليم😍 فورا جربته وعجبني حيل، الألوان مو ذوقي الا واحد، والثاني لاباس اما لونين مو ذوقي ابدا بس اخذت المجموعه عشان كامله احتجت اخليه دقيقة وأكثر لاني كنت احط طبقة ثقيلة لاني مستعجلة اجرب بس نصيحة حطو طبقة خفيفة وكل شوي زيدو بعد م تجففو الي قبل 👍🏻 اتبعو التعليمات سوو تنظيف وبرد الأظافر وبعدين تخشين سطح الأظافر عشان يثبت اللون بعدين الأساس وعالمصباح ثم اللون ثم المصباح ثم التوب كوت واخيرا المصباح وكل طبقة حطو خفيف جدا عشان تنشف بسهولة وامسحو بمسحة طبيه اذا خلصتو الأفضل تشترو قفاز الأظافر تحمون يدكم من الضوء، ماعرفت أضيف صور. وثابت م يتقشر بسهولة بس طبقوه صح وجففوه صح > حاولت اشيله بنفسي عن طريق التقشير ولا فاد. لكن للامانه م جربت اكثر من يومين.
