Hi can it dice tomatoes and cucumbers

Tends to squidge tomatoes, haven't tried cucumber but would imagine it would work. Bought mine for onions, carrots etc. brilliant for these type of things.

How many blade attachments are provided?

Just one, this product is designed without interchangeable blades. Only cube shapes.

Do you need to purchase any extras with this n how strong is this long lasting? Any sharp bits one have to careful with?

Unusually for Oxo this is a rubbish product. It cuts the inner of an onion and squashes the outer.
