Do they come in a box?

Yes they do come in a box (the one shown in the image.)

Are they any good if you are left handed, in other words do they dry quickly or will they smudge?

Generally the ink dries quickly and a left-handed user that I questioned about it didn't have a problem. Having said that, we only use the pens for short note-taking and not long passages so I can't vouch for them entirely.

How long are they supposed to last?

I have used 3 since October 2019. I like these pens as they are smooth and light to hold. I mark a lot of schoolbooks every week and these are ideal as you don't need to press down too hard to write quickly as the ink flow and colour is very good.
