Having bought and trashed many disappointing kettles I love this one. The temperature gauge and water fill ladder are both easy to read. Most importantly it boils water for tea pretty quickly and has a good spout for pouring. For those that care it looks pretty good too.

Great looking kettle well built very stylish, but with a flaw in its design. If you refill the kettle right after you empty the boiling water, as I often do, the placement of the handle directly over the open top of the kettle will cause steam to burn your hand. This was purchased to replace a kettle that I adored that had its handle on the side, which, of course never had this problem. That’s about the only flaw I can find in it though so if you’re willing to wait for it to cool down before you refill it, this is a great choice.

I own two of these, one for home and one for a vacation house. I'm an avid tea lover and I've had several electric kettles through the years. This is by far my favorite. It is beautifully designed with thoughtful details and a sturdy feel. It holds the heat for a while. It looks classy on my counter. It brings me joy to use it as I heat water several times a day.

Exceptional quality. Capacity is great. I use the dial on the front to see how close I am to boiling more than I expected to. I just thought it was cool looking.Blessedly it does not beep when the water boils, just a click. If you remove the top after it boils to put in more water, the handle of the top is cool, but the edges of the top are quite hot. The instructions warn about this, and it’s quite easy to avoid, but be aware.

Stopped working after 10 months. Disappointed. Had a knockoff brand from amazon with a temperature dial like this that we used for years and replaced because it started to look old. We bought the matching black toaster and electric teapot. Now I don’t want another Haden but need something that matches the black and gold with a temperature dial.

We really like the look of this kettle, we have the beige enamel color. A drawback is that In 4 months of use the enamel is already chipping off the top of the kettle from opening and closing the lid. I fear that it’ll look really shabby and work much faster than if we had gotten a fully stainless finish. It heats fast, the temperature dial is a terrific upgrade. The back part of the handle can get quite hot and burn, but the main span of the handle remains usable.

This kettle is attractive but, more importantly, easy to use and very reliable. The handle is well placed and does not become to hot to handle when in use. The Haden brand is sturdy, fast and long lived as well.

Amazon informs me that we bought this item back in Feb 2021. 5 years later it is still going strong. I will admit we initially bought it because it was Stainless Steel (not plastic) and red. it was the Covid era and we wanted something bright to cheer us up. At least that is our story for why we have a red car, red mixer, red blender and red kettle. It works great. I don't think it is particularity fast but that isn't an issue for us. I initially thought the temperature dial was a useless gimmick but my wife uses it to make Jasmine tea which requires a lower temp than regular black tea. I was also worried about the plastic coating on the flexible metal handle. After a couple of months of use I noticed some a tiny hairline crack in the top of the plastic but this never developed into anything more than a hairline surface defect. I would buy it again.... but I don't need to as ours continues to work great.

Love how fast it boils water. So much better than a stove kettle. Love the old style look. Would love to be able to buy the 4 slice toaster in the same sage green colour

The kettle looks great and love the styling of copper and black. Upon first use, I noticed the kettle takes longer to heat to a full boil, but the temperature reading helps to know when to take off for certain tea temperatures. I was a little worried that the kettle takes longer to boil for the coffee press, BUT, I was impressed how long the water stays hot in the kettle afterwards! You could drink a cup and come back for your second cup and the water is still hot! Love this. Kettle is well made, light and sits on the base easily, so after my second press this morning, I’m loving this kettle even more. Definitely going to buy more of these Haden black/copper series appliances to update the kitchen!

Beautifully finished, and works very well. Complements the Dorset toaster perfectly. Works great, too!
