Excellent price and excellent quality. Working really well on lawn edging and small hedge.

Very sharp with comfortable handles. I can understand why people might find these a little heavy or unbalanced. but a few tidy up jobs were a joy for me after being used to faffing on with secateurs, and the weight wasn't an issue. I'm sure the weight will help on tougher hedging. Great price for a recognised tool brand and a 10 year guarantee.

Spear and Jackson quality, robust and well-made, Sharp and cuts well - but not tried hedges, think they would be fine They are heavy-, designed for edge cutting and long handles makes them heavy. As a woman I found them tiring to use and tended pause between 3-5 cuts. I chose because I want them quickly- arrived on chosen day. Taking into account heaviness a good buy.. Suggest you wipe with an oiled cloth regularly - mine, left out overnight , has rust marks. surprisingly, and left especially if you are not going to use them for a while in the shed, they would soon become too difficult to open,

Cet outil est bien pensé, de prime abord il est robuste, les lames sont belles et aiguisées. Après une saison d'usage, elles tiennent un peu moins le coup et malgré un affûtage, on sent que la qualité et un peu en deça des marques. Cela dit, le rapport qualité pris est intéressant et si vous avez des petits travaux d'entretien de haie, il est parfait ! Si c'est pour vous attaquer à un gros chantier d'élagage, préférez une grande marque

These are a nice looking pair of shears and they work great on hedge trimming but I bought them also hoping I could cut through the thin stalks of trees that have popped up in my garden; however, they will not. I may be expecting too much but they are advertised as very sharp so I thought they'd be able to handle most of the gardening issues I have.
