York 4x 5kg Black Cast Iron 1Inch Plates

Ordered this set to upgrade my old 8kg York dumbbells, and it’s made a proper difference. Adding these plates has given me more flexibility with my training and made the weights feel far more capable. The cast iron build feels solid and durable, with a nice simple black finish. They slot onto my York dumbbells perfectly with the standard 1-inch holes, so everything fits as it should and stays secure while in use. Since using them, my workouts have felt more effective, and I can already notice improvements. It’s a straightforward way to increase the load without needing to replace my existing kit. For the money, it’s a great addition to a home setup. Reliable, well made, and does the job nicely. Definitely recommended.

It is pricey, but that is expected. Things like this, last a lifetime. They are very robust and small for their weight. I don't care too much for what they look like, but they do look nice. It's been months and there has been no wear atall, though admitedlly I don't throw it around or store it outside. Very good, overall worth the price considering you will not get cheaper iron cast plates.

Not much needed to know a regular purchase to any home gym and very trusted and proven plates and great old school look and can hammerite paint to add style and unique class

Bought these to go with my newly purchased York Fitness EZ curl bar and they’ve been a great addition to my home setup. The plates fit perfectly on the 1-inch bar no wobbling or slipping and feel really solid and well-made. The cast iron finish is durable, and they have a classic, no-nonsense design. Easy to load and unload, and the weight markings are clear and easy to read. Great quality and exactly what I was looking for to build out my home gym. Would definitely recommend if you're using a standard 1-inch bar.

Pretty hard to mess up. It's slabs of iron with a hole. Easy to use and weigh as advertised. Have a rough old school durable aesthetic and the density of material means they wont split and spill sand. Just keep them dry and clean as iron will rust if mistreated.

Die mir gelieferten Scheiben sehen viel besser aus als die auf den Fotos bei Amazon. Wenn ich wieder welche brauche, würde ich sie sofort wieder kaufen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr fair.
