Great cooling pad but even better customer service!
Purchased the item about 6 months ago. It looks and works great keeps my laptop (Acer predator Helios) very cool whilst gaming even though the laptop is notorious for overheating. Had a slight issue recently. Contacted product support and I received fantastic customer service from Stephan, one of KLIM’s product specialists, who resolved the issue promptly and efficiently. I cannot recommend this company highly enough!

Brilliant-Just what the laptop needed...
My laptop was getting hot-it was blowing out hot air from the side-vent, making the usb cables hot. This got serious especially when using programs like Unity or Unreal. I even had the laptop elevated...but nada. As you all know, laptops have everything crammed into a tiny space, and things get heated up. The lack of propert ventilation makes the components hot. And the fact that when the machine is sitting on a table or in your lap...the air circulation is blocked from the bottom. Laptops are not like desktop that theres enough space for 20 can-do a air circulation and cooling system is a must. I did my research and thought let me take the plunge into getting this. The reviews were quiet favourable but mixed. I have to say that this is brilliant. 🎊🎉..THANK YOU KLIM...🎊🎉 The laptop is cold to touch, and the fan is absolutely silent. At the moment I only have the two back fans on-and it is keeping the machine cool. The ability to be able to select the fans is a great option, and that extra USB power port is great for powering external speakers. Yes there are others with whiz bang coloured lights, and a BIG fan in the middle to make it look fancy...but to be honest-whose going to see the lights under the laptop. Mine is 17inch laptop and covers the entire cooler, so having LEDs are just a fancy. Although saying that I do like the GREEN LED cooler...😁 So if anyone is thinking about getting one...definitely...as this is brilliant for your laptop. It will keep it cool and working to its optimum. The cooler will keep the fans operating optimally, and prevent any sensor failure. It will also prevent the laptop from shutting down prematurely due to overheating. Many have complaind that fans don;t work, or there isn't enough air being produce - but I can honestly say that with all the fans on - i can actually feel the cold-air on my forearms as I type on the laptop keyboard. I would say the speed of the fans is comparable to those found in the ATX tower cases for full size PCs.

Better than most, but not earth shattering
I bought an off-brand laptop cooler from a high street store because my laptop was getting really hot when it was on my lap in bed. I found, over the course of a few weeks, that the off-brand cooler was just making more noise and seemed to be actively fighting the airflow of the laptop somehow. It certainly wasn't helping. Then I tried a Coolermaster giant-fan one, and that was next to useless. Marginal gains (at best), and zero benefit at worst. This is my final attempt. Rather three medium fans and one huge fan the pad has foud smaller fans. Normally smaller means noisier, and that's certainly the case versus the 230mm fan, but they're no noisier than the larger off-brand fans. A slight rattle and hum is all this pad adds when operating at a nominal speed. The only noise comes when you turn the fan speed right up to get it working. Ironically it's not the fans themselves making all the noise, it's the whooshing of the air past the grilles and the humm because the pad's fan and laptop fan seem to interfere with each other a little. When tested during gaming, the laptop CPU was 67oC without the pad, and 62oC with the pad. Holding the laptop in the air, it dropped to 66oC, so the pad is marginally effective. During normal usage on my lap, the CPU was 45oC on my lap, and 42oC when on the pad. it was 45oC when I held it in the air. I basically think the laptop's cooling pipes are doing quite well, but the pad does help. It's not going to amaze you with its cooling abilities, and any noise saved from the laptop's fans will be offset by the whooshing noise of the air from this pad. I'd say the best case is when you have a 13.4" laptop that gets really hot, and you want to use it in bed. The pad will separate it from the bed sheets and allow air to flow properly. It certainly looks the business. The blue lights look really nice, and the styling is VERY cool. My only bugbear is that the laptop keeps USB power on when it's in sleep mode, so the pad keeps spinning until I unplug it. I don't even know if the pad can do something about that, it sounds like a laptop issue, but I mention it so you're aware. It's a lovely looking pad, and marginally effective, and also relatively inexpensive (at present). Four Stars.

Cool laptop
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently invested in the KLIM Wind Laptop Cooling Pad, and it has made a significant difference in my laptop's performance and temperature management. Here’s my take on this cooling pad: **Effective Cooling Performance:** The KLIM Wind cooling pad is highly effective at keeping my laptop cool during long work sessions and gaming marathons. The dual fans provide powerful airflow, significantly lowering the temperature and preventing overheating. **Adjustable Fan Speed:** I love the adjustable fan speed feature, which allows me to customize the cooling based on my needs. Whether I need maximum cooling during intensive tasks or quieter operation during regular use, this pad has got me covered. **Ergonomic Design:** The design is ergonomic, offering an adjustable height that promotes better posture while using my laptop. It’s comfortable for extended periods, and I appreciate the extra elevation it provides. **Compatibility:** This cooling pad is compatible with a wide range of laptop sizes, up to 17.3 inches. It fits my laptop perfectly and has ample space for even larger models. **Stylish Appearance:** The sleek design and LED lights give it a modern look that complements my setup nicely. It adds a touch of style without being overly flashy. **Quiet Operation:** I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the fans are. Even at higher speeds, they produce minimal noise, allowing me to focus on my work or immerse myself in gaming without distraction. **USB Powered:** The fact that it’s USB powered is very convenient. I can easily connect it to my laptop without needing an additional power source, and it has a pass-through USB port, which is a nice touch for connecting other devices. Overall, I highly recommend the KLIM Wind Laptop Cooling Pad to anyone looking to enhance their laptop's cooling performance. It’s an excellent investment for maintaining optimal temperatures, improving comfort, and prolonging the lifespan of your device. I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase!

Great product at a good price
There are times when my 2010 MacBook Pro sounds like a helicopter. I need to get the fan repaired/replaced, but I bought this in the meantime. I've been using it for a couple of hours and it is fairly quiet (quieter than the laptop's fans in full flood) and quite efficient: laptop is noticeably cooler than I can ever remember and is slightly cool to the touch on top, despite the laptop being in a protective plastic case. The pad is about an inch tall and noticeably larger than my 13" laptop. I'd estimate that it projects a couple of inches at either side and about half an inch front and back. The fans are covered by metal grills and the surround is plastic. The grills appear totally rigid, whilst the surround can be flexed a little, but in use it feels completely solid. The pad is powered by one of my laptop's USB ports and the pad has 2 ports. One of these is used to power the pad, so overall I have access to the same number of free ports. I haven't tried to connect a device via the pad, so I can't comment on the connectivity, which can be an issue with MacBooks. There are 2 switches next to the USB ports (at the rear of the pad) and the fans can be turned on and off in pairs. The blue LEDs are not switched separately. The USB cable supplied is nylon corded and looks very durable. Overall, a great product at a good price which does its job.

Loving this stand, great item.
Still going well and doing a good job, lit up it looks good as it reflects on the desk giving a nice under glow of blue. choice of 2 or 4 fans running and being able to regulate is good, as is the second USB which acts also as a passthrough rather than losing a port on the laptop for powering the fans. The tilt legs and the lifting holder legs on the top make the angle good for some wrist comfort while holding the laptop from sliding toward you. A well made cooling stand with good aesthetics, highly recommend.

Great all rounder stand/cooler with an average of 8-10 degrees cooler
First Impressions / Packaging So the packaging was great, it comes bubble wrapped with additional stickers, company contact information, quick start guide, USB cable and a shipping note that was hilarious (see attached photo). The shipping note is very over the top and aimed to make you laugh but if a manufacturer is willing to go to these lengths to make the experience pleasant you know they've put time and effort into the product. Product So I was after a stand alongside something that would keep my PC cool, this stood out to me with great reviews and red LED lighting that complimented my laptop nicely. The stand can either lay flat on your lap or at an angle - quite a large angle that better suits me for typing, at the bottom most corners of the product are 2 hinges that can extend to keep your laptop in place. I found these unnecessary as the product is very rigid and firm being made from metal, in case your laptop doesn't have much grip there a nice additional feature. Overall the build quality is great with metal venting between the fans and rigid plastic to hold everything in place. The fans are controllable via 2 little dials next to the USB ports (see attached photos), 1 dial controlling the bottom 2 fans and 1 controlling the top. As for the USB ports that are included, either can be used to attach straight to any USB input on your laptop with the other then acting as an additional USB for your laptop, essentially your not losing a valuable USB port by using this cooler. Noise is a difficult one as I don't really mind a bit of fan noise, there is an evident whirr from the fans once you plug the product in however I find myself forgetting its there after a minute or so. I would say they are quiet although I don't have much to reference too. One observation is that my laptop ran cooler overall before the internal fans had to kick in - my laptops internal fan being much louder than these fans overall. Temps Now the all important bit - temperatures. This is going to vary laptop to laptop depending on whether they have venting underneath to allow air inflow, mine has several passive vents that can utilise this stand although id imagine some laptops have even greater venting which would allow for better cooling overall. Putting your hand on the product you can feel a nice cool and even breeze, like a cushion of air beneath your laptop, I was actually quite impressed by how much air these could push! As each fan is a moving part this will have an effect on your battery life, as there controllable though i found having them on minimal setting still kept me cooler overall with minimal battery drain. My idle temps without the stand are 50C CPU and 41C GPU, with the stand these average at about 42C CPU and 34C GPU. I used 3dMark Benchmarking software alongside CPUID to get an accurate temperature before and after, I ran a DX12 test on loop for 1 hour with intention to stress both CPU and GPU, results can be seen in the pictures but for a quick summary - 1 hour 3DMark DX12 Stress Test CPU - 78 without stand, 71 with stand GPU - 77 without stand, 70 with stand So overall I've seen about a 7 degree drop on average after an hours stress testing. Small bursts or casual use and idling I tend to see a 10-12 degree drop on average. I've actually seen a slight increase in my 3DMark bench scores also due to the cooler GPU. I must also note that I under-volt my laptop and have recently changed thermal paste and refurbished the fan and cooling system so my results aren't going to be overwhelming, you might see a higher increase on an older less maintained laptop as fan systems become more inefficient over time as dust builds up. Still I never see either the CPU or GPU reach above 78C even after hours of gaming on such games as GTA V running at 1080p very high settings. My build for those curios is a Asus ZX553VD featuring - i5 7300HQ, Nvidia GTX 1050, 16 GB DDR4 Ram, Samsung 970 Pro 1TB M2 Drive + Standard 2.5mm 1TB HDD So under normal conditions this cooler/stand gives me a 10C drop in temps and looks great holding my laptop at a decent viewing/typing angle. Definitely worth a buy and would thoroughly recommend.

Questionable
Decent product but be aware you can ONLY use the cable it comes with doesn’t allow any other cable option which is highly annoying as the cable provided is very small

Excellent Cooling Pad with Exceptional Customer Support
I’ve been using the KLIM Wind Laptop Cooling Pad and it has impressed me both in performance and durability. The cooling efficiency is good — the fans are good yet reasonably quiet. But what truly sets KLIM apart is their after-sales support. One of the legs of my cooling pad broke, so I reached out to their support team through Amazon. To my surprise, they responded quickly and shipped replacement legs completely free of cost from their Netherlands warehouse. I didn’t have to go through any complicated process — just a simple message and they took care of everything. It’s rare these days to find products backed by such reliable and customer-friendly service. KLIM not only provides a great product, but also stands behind it with excellent support. Highly recommended!

Impeccable

Barely makes any noise
I previously bought the Cyclone type from KLIM and couldn't stand it because of a whirring sound that drove me crazy within ten minutes of turning it on. This version barely makes any noise and absolutely no whirring. Much much better. It's perfect for my 16" gaming laptop with a bit of space for adjusting and will probably do fine with a 17"

Good laptop stand/ cooler
Good laptop stand for the price, its light and not too thick so it’s good to carry in your bag, the fans work well with a good amount of airflow and it’s not too loud
