Flutterbye Flying Unicorn Figure

I was in two minds whether to buy this or not following the disappointment of the fairy (my daughter loved it however it broke within a few days). I have to say the unicorn appears to be much better made. My daughter loves it!

Within a week this was broken. My daughter and husband were not playing Roughton, they were learning how to control it and it spun off their hands and landed on the floor tearing the wing.To be honest it was bought under protest - the fairy ended in the same way.I would not recommend this toy.Try to steer your kids to another choice.It's a lot of money and excitement to get one or two flights from it.

I'd give it no stars if I could. This product is so unsuitable for children to play with it breaks so easily and it only charges when it decides too. All these lights on it are nonsense. You do what the light says in the Instructions and it still doesn't work. This was a santa present for my little girl and I think she got 3 minutes play out of it before it broke and ever since it won't charge or the lights are flashing. Change batteries as this what says to do if lights flash and still not working. Definetly won't be buying anything from flutterbye again. The fairy she got for her birthday didn't last much longer

My grandchildren love this toy. It is quite thin plastic and not very sturdy but it certainly does fly! It needs recharging a lot which is very quick and easy to do. It also advises hair to be tied back which I would recommend in case it gets a bit close. It has given a lot of amusement to our family.

This has been a total flop of a birthday present. It caught my daughter's hair and we had to battle to save it( her hair I mean)! It does, however, warn of this on the packaging. My 6 year old is now frightened of it. £25 wasted and does not encourage imaginative play in my opinion.

Like so many others I would never recommend buying this. My 5 year old son bought it for his step sister and ended up paying the price as it flew at his face an only just missed his eye!! Got a nasty red mark on his nose though. after that is broke and will not work. I'm actually glad as I can only imagine if it went in my little girls hair or my son actually go it in his eye! Horrid, avoid at all costs

Cannot be controlled using your hand. It flies off all over the place at great speed. Hit my daughter in the face. Shoots off everywhere. After 3 mins of use it has to be charged for 30mins to then fly for another 3mins. On our second attempt of using it shot up, hit the ceiling light and the wing broke. The wings are very flimsy. Anyone looking at this, i would advise to get the original version 'Flutterbye Fairy' it is much sturdier in design, and much easier to control.

I bought this back in oct as a Xmas present for my daughter, I like to spread the cost leading to Xmas as it's quite expensive. The toy doesn't not work and there is no 'contact seller' option and when I tried to click return it said its been to long to return the item. If I just didn't want it I would understand but it's broken so this is just not good enough my daughter is devastated and I can't afford to buy another one right after Xmas
