Absolutely stunning quality, wonderful chewy taste as good as tapoica from famous boba shops, gets super spongy and chewy and very easily ready in the microwave. If someone stole this pack of tapioca pearls from me, I would fight ever fire breathing dragon and mythical creature to get it back

So my daughters like the bubble tea in town so I bought these to try. Boiled for 5 mins then rinsed in cold water. Added to milkshake. I liked it, they were a bit chewy. My son and daughter said it was ok but not much taste but it was our first attempt. Next time will boil in far less water and add brown sugar. My other daughter threw her drink up in the toilet floor as didn’t make it to the toilet. She said the milkshake was too sweet. So don’t know it was these that didn’t agree with her but I like to live dangerously so will do her another next time to see if it happens again. The price does seem to go up and down on here but they allow you to make it at home cheaper than shop bought drinks.

These are simple to make - essentially involves boiling the tapioca until all the balls come to the top. A little bit of simmering with the lid on the pan and then they are done. I would say it takes about ten minutes to make than the advertised 5 minutes. I would also point out that these have no flavour so it is advised to add a little sugar or honey on them when fully cooked, according to the packet. I used about half the packet when I made them which was just enough for a couple of bubble tea drinks. Of course that will vary depending on how much you use. Only suggestions for improvement would be a larger pack size for better value and perhaps more flavour. Overall, still happy with the purchase and would recommend.

Ok, so I’m calling these boba because I forget their official name but here’s my review. con’s they smell weird when you cook them. Omg That is the only con I could think of. They smelled weird BUT had little to no taste (hence why I said 5 stars for flavour) the smell I think was more the cooking style I did so that’s probably my fault. Also it was so easy to cook, very simple and a nice addition to dessert. May I recommend you make mango float shake (google it) that’s what I did and they were delicious! I included a picture of my float shake because it’s weird to show you packaging of boba because they already show you what it looks like. The boba is at the bottom so the pic is relevant.

These are easy to cook and very tasty. They are well in date. It has the expiration date at the back and useful instructions to cook the pearls. I didn’t follow these instructions and still ended up with the same great results. One 250g pack can make about a bowl full of pearls. It’s about 1 3/4 cups of pearl in 250g. I cooked 1 cup to 7-8 cups of water. When the water was at a rolling boil, I added the one cup of pearls. I stirred and waited until they floated. I covered the pot and turned the heat down to medium. I simmered the pearls for 5-10 mins, sometimes stirring in between. I turned the heat off after 10mins and let it sit covered in the pot for another 2-5mins. Drain the pearls and rinse with cold water until it’s room temp. I left them in cold water for 10mins until I was happy with the chewiness/texture of the pearls. Serve it with honey or brown sugar syrup and add it to your favourite flavoured tea/drink.

So easy to cook and nice texture but they literally have no taste lmao it taste like water jelly, i even soaked it in honey, syrup and sugar but once they was in the liquid the coat dissolved and they taste like nothing when you chew

Saves me a fortune in bubble tea now we've found this. Easy to cook, doesn't go weird like others we've tried. I usually have to make 3 servings of this each time so I would say you get between 6-7 drinks from a bag depending how many bubbled you like in your tea. Would recommend and have already purchased another two bags.

I have bought these before from this seller, and they were as advertised then. The listing still says ingredients are "Tapioca Starch 42%, Water, Corn Starch, Colour (Sulphite Ammonia Caramel), Thickener (E412), Preservative (E262), Flavouring. Allergy Advice: Contains Sulphite." But the latest pack I got has been stickered to say they now include Sweetener E951 (Aspartame) as well. It's not ok to send consumable products that have different ingredients to the listing online. I wouldn't have repurchased if I had known they now include this ingredient.

Very good, high-quality boba- the only complaint I have is the value for the $ you pay. It is not an extremely large amount of boba per bag, and it is rather expensive. There are other boba brands on amazon that taste just as good, give you more boba, and are more affordable.

This was the EASIEST boba to make ever. I’ve tried several times to make boba pearls from my local asian market that were super cheap and in huge batches, but had no clear instructions on how to make them. This package actually came with quite a lot of pearls despite being a small package (it was filled to the brim, barely any space left), and had CLEAR english instructions! It said to use 10 cups of water but I was able to pass with much less after reading a comment mentioning it doesn’t really matter, and the pearls cooked to be so soft and squishy without falling apart in quite literally 5 minutes, so the package didn’t lie like i was afraid it might have. They have no real taste which I think is great because I like boba for the texture, and I was able to sweeten them with a little bit of pure cane sugar. I didn’t even have to sweeten my tea because it made the tea sweet with the pearls! Absolutely love this boba and I dont think i’ll ever buy another brand. I’d also like to mention that another review stated this was expensive for the amount, but I cannot stress enough how untrue this is. In the states (unless you’re in NY or Cali with a heavy asian population), boba tea goes for about $4-$6 per regular size cup. The fact that I could make 8-10 servings from this bag pays off that expense already, not to mention the fact that tea (or whatever drink you’re putting this in) is never going to be any more expensive than the pearls. The price is honestly too low for what you receive, and the quality is amazing. This is my best purchase and will be saving me the money from going on boba runs every other day.

Great prdt. Easy to cook too

I bought this product because I LOVE boba, but bubble tea from my local shop is around $5.50 per cup. At the mall, it's around $9.00. This bag has around 5 servings for $5.00. That's a steal! The cost is around a dollar for every 1/3 cup. The bobas take around 5-10 minutes to cook depending on the temperature of your stove. If you follow the directions, (10 cups water per 1 cup boba pearls, let water boil and pour pearls in, then let bubbles float to the top and simmer to soften the pearls,) the bobas come out perfectly. I recommend adding brown sugar or honey to sweeten the pearls. They taste great served hot or cold. I like to have them with a smoothie or hot tea or coffee. Overall, these pearls are the bang for your buck! I have tried other brands such as 'Buddha Bubbles', however they are more expensive and have a different taste than those from the shop. These inexpensive, great flavor bobas are the best. I definitely recommend. EDIT: I noticed that the price of these had risen to 8.99, (now they are back to 5.99) and wanted to see if I could find a brand with a better price but similar pearls. I ended up trying E-Fa's Rainbow tapioca pearls and they were AMAZING! The E-Fa Rainbow tapioca pearls were 11.55 for a 2.2 pound bag of tapioca pearls (compare to WufuYaun 5.99 for 8 ounces.) I will list the pros and cons for each brand. WufuYaun: The WufuYaun pearls are the perfect size and most likely what your used to. These pearls taste exactly like boba pearls from the tea shop. There texture is more chewy than comparable pearls. Keep this is mind as some people prefer other textures. Though the pearls themselves are great, they are more expensive than E-Fa tapioca pearls. E-Fa Tapioca Pearls: These pearls are great! They are a bit smaller than the WufuYaun tapioca pearls, however they fit perfectly for any/all buble tea drinks. I personally like these flavour better. They are sweeter than the pearls from WufuYaun. I find the WufuYaun tapioca pearls stay soft for a longer time. These bobas are much better, however price wise. For a 11.50 you can get 2.2 pounds of great tasting boba pearls. I like these pearls the best, mainly because they are a cheaper option. However, WufuYaun pearls are great, too.
