Comfy and functional (added my own bag) for "lungers"; wish the pad was a bit longer
DOGGO: 36lb KVD/Jindo MixTIME USED (when reviewed): 1 MonthMy pup does pull but it's generally a "likes to be at the end of the leash" type of thing with not *too* much pressure. She'll pull more than that, such that she's dragging me, when she's excited or to get to a smell but it's usually brief. The real issue for us is RABBITS! We're working on impulse control but she will suddenly lunge HARD trying to chase something and it's very sudden and painful. My back has thanked me for buying this padded belt. It definitely spreads out the effect and helps a ton compared to just a waist strap alone. Just wish the pad was a bit longer to wrap more around my waist for more protection when it's (rarely) needed. Some specifics for those that like detail:I'm a 36" waist and the pad basically covers my back, wrapping very little around to the sides. I wish it was longer since the doggo will sometimes be at my side when a lunge comes on and the jerk will happen on the unprotected area on my side... kind of a side stomach OOF. Even in the listing photos, you can see the woman with the smaller waist wouldn't have this problem because the pad comes around on the sides... but you can't see the pad on the man's wider waist at all (in the photo that's not Photoshopped, that is... heh) or on my waist where I took a photo from the front. So having a larger option would be very nice. I actually almost took a star off for this but decided not to in the end. It works so well 98% of the time. And after the first week or so, I found myself actually paying more attention and shifting when she does go to the side to instead keep her more in front of me, so it's not as bad now unless she happens to dart off *substantially* to the side. YMMV depending on your dog/how you walk. The two attachment rings have been very secure and provide excellent peace of mind should the clip fail. The belt slides pretty effortlessly through the pad so as your dog moves around, the belt will shift but the pad will stay in place! Works very well.I'd originally moved the extra O-ring to my back-right to hold my poop bag clip but because the belt sides through the pad easily meant that sometimes the O-ring would get caught and cause the pad to move. I've since put the poop bag clip on a strap on the back of the pad and that's worked amazingly well. (Added a photo of that so you can see, since I probably didn't explain that well enough.) So the O-ring has returned to the front for any extras when I need it. If you need it more to the side/back, this may be an issue for you.I've also added my own little bag that was on my old belt, which is used to carry extras like more poop bags, a little flashlight and her night walking light, my gloves when it's cold, etc. It just has loops on the back and slid right over the belt with no issues. Would be nice if this came with one but if you want to add one, there are a lot of options that fit.I do use the belt flipped upside down right now, which is what you'll see in the photos, since I wanted the extra O-ring on my back-right side for the poop bag holder (default is on the left), but now that I've worked everything out, I'll flip it back over.I haven't used the leash yet! I actually already have a similar bungie leash with handles (that's a bit longer) that has also been great to absorb some shock so I do recommend them overall but since I haven't used this one specifically, I can't comment on it.

Stands up to a Belgian Malinois!
This is awesome! Although people say not to get a waist harness, this works very well for our 42lb Belgian malinois. She loves to take off running and with this, and a tightening collar, she is controllable under spontaneous action situations. She is also learning to walk well without pulling it all taunt. Weight:This belt is able to be adjusted and the width and elasticity of the product stands up to power pullimg.Durability:The first two spring leashes that I bought broke. This one is standing up to at least twice daily use on long walks with a Malinois who reacts to squirrels - and I walked out one day and was surrounded by 8 squirrels in everyone's yard on our way to walk! I had to laugh.

Great for walking dog with stroller
I've been using this for a few months now on walks with stroller and 70lb dog. Took her a few walks to get used to it because it's a short leash. The waist leash is nice because you don't get tangled. If dog walks around you to other side you can just slide the belt around your hips instead of stepping over it or making dog go around. Clips off the belt easily for when you meet other dogs on the trail and need to detach from your body while they sniff :)

If this is a belt for you, then this IS the belt for you!
This is well constructed, and works as described. I use it quite often. It’s comfortable and the waist does not slide around on you.Only drawback for me is that one of the buckles doesn’t move to where I need it to be. It gets caught on the back that it’s supposed to slip in and out of, or maybe it’s not supposed to slip in and out of. But I’d like it to do is move around more easily. But for others that might be the opposite where they want to sit exactly where it’s been.So I would recommend you try it, see if it works for you and the way you’re using it with your pup. Could be a perfect belt. One suggestion is that they collaborate with a YouTuber that trains you how to use this and hopefully train your dog to be better at the activity you use it for.One of my dogs runs with me, the other one is impossible to run with. Would’ve been an added value for them to suggest a training video.I can recommend.

Works well for Service Dog
This was exactly what I needed. Comfortable to wear, minimal, highly adjustable, versatile, and very durable. Having a service dog, I use this every single time I leave the house. The versatility is fantastic for the varied needs of a SD and their handler. The length is perfect. It never gets in the way but has enough length that we can easily separate as we change positions and navigate. It has been wonderful in so many ways and I have never had an issue with it.

Great and has stood the test of time!
We have been using this for months and I love it! I will often attach a second leash to it to make it longer and it's great for hiking. Bonus, when I attach the leash to my dog's back harness, he loves to pull me up hills when we hike 😂 Win-Win.
