Needed to replace the regulator and valve on our gas fireplace and so far this has worked perfectly. It’s exactly what I expected and gave me the right output pressure so no complaints.

Works well once I got all the fitting I needed to hook this up.

Make sure you open it up and see if it's set to propane or natural gas. I thought that it was set to natural gas and installed it on a BBQ only to find out it was actually set to propane instead of natural gas. There is a huge difference in the 2 pressures and when I turned the unit on it whistled so loud that it was annoying to be within 10 ft of the BBQ. I checked it out and set it to the right pressure and it works flawlessly.

As Advertised and seems to function properly. My only issue is that a internal nozzle needs to be adjusted for natural gas. This is explained in the ad, but it would have been helpful if this would have been pointed out in the packaging with directions. The valve comes with no directions to do this.

Universal regulator comes for LP gas and easy to change for NG gas. My old HEJ-1 Charm glow NG grill needed a new regulator. This was the only regulator I could find that stated it was for NG grills. Installed , checked for leaks then put the grill back together. My forty,maybe fifty year old gas grill works like ,maybe be better than, a new one. Good flow and even flame.

The regulator I received did not work out of the box on a standard 20 lb propane cylinder. The diaphragm in the regulator would jam shut a moment after I opened the propane tank valve. As a result I would get an initial moment of low flame on the stove, and then flame out, no pressure. Yes, the small valve brass insert for LP gas was in the proper position (LP arrow up) when it arrived, but was also checked when the regulator wouldn't work properly. Reading the above mfr description again I now see it isn't supposed to be used under 32 degrees F. So in addition, this regulator is basically useless for outdoor installation in most parts of the country for any use in winter. I strongly suggest people carefully read the description, and purchase a better designed regulator. Returned. UPDATE: I assumed from the glowing mfr description that this was a single stage regulator, suitable for a wide range of devices with a standard LP gas tank. However after another more careful a re-read I now believe it is only a SECOND STAGE low pressure regulator requiring another first stage regulator for LP tank use. Nowhere in the description does it say this is a second stage regulator. Yet the product description says the LP INLET pressure is 11" WC. Which is actually a common OUTLET pressure for single stage regulators. That is way too low for an inlet on a tank mounted single stage regulator. So that must imply it's a second stage reg. Buyer beware essential application info missing. Why so many 5 star reviews? The purchasers who claim success with this regulator are probably mainly those using it to convert devices from LP to low pressure NG, where the inlet pressure is already regulated down by the NG utility gas meter as a first stage. It would work for that, but not for going the other way round. It's pretty much useless for tank mount LP gas use outdoors - unless you already have a single prior stage AND your temps never dip below 32F. Hawaii maybe?

Product is as described, arrive quickly with the Teflon tape an required HW. Work as needed.

Replaced the regulator on my Weber Summit after having issues for some time. Seems to work normal after first run and the install was easy if your a DIY type person. Time will tell

This unit is a good value, I just ordered the wrong size. I went with 1/2 inch when what I needed was 3/8. Easy return.

It helped us to change our barbecue from a gas cylinder to natural gas. But the pressure is still weaker than it should be.
