Outstanding option for compression and support! I've tried a few of these types of shirts, most recently the one that rhymes with 'paper dove', and these are superior, in my opinion. They have a denser fabric that isn't scratchy and feel smoother like a high quality material. I was pleasantly surprised by how well this compression shirt works. It provides excellent tummy control and chest support without feeling overly tight or uncomfortable. The material is breathable, stretches well, and stays comfortable even during workouts or when worn all day under a shirt. It creates a smoother, slimmer appearance instantly and fits true to size. The fabric has held up well after several washes without losing its compression.

Correction - After returning the first set because the sizing was WAY off, the XL size is perfect for my hubby. Hubby is 5'7" and currently 195 lbs. Using the sizing guide, he needed the largest size, a 3XL. We were eager to receive them as we had an upcoming gathering of friends and family where he was going to wear a pair of nice trousers and a dress shirt that was a little snug on him. He was literally swimming in the first set. There was no noticeable compression in the chest area, and although there was some in the tummy area (his main trouble area), the compression shirt length was nearly past his crotch! I immediately returned it and ordered a Large, which is perfect for him. It arrived just in time for our gathering, he looked great in his dress shirt, and people even commented on how good he looked. They are great quality, has good compression but not suffocating. You could not tell he had anything on under his dress shirt. He told me it felt great and it was breathable, so important here in the Desert Southwest where we live. He also said the compression shirt made him realize how much weight he needs to lose to not rely on it anymore, and he is committed to losing the weight that made it necessary to buy these in the first place!

When I first got these compression tanks,!I thought they were the best I’d ever worn. And they really were…. Until they weren’t. While at first the compression is great, and the material is such that top layers don’t stick to it much, they lose their compression abilities very quickly. I’d estimate getting under 10 wears before they no longer compress well enough to wear. I bought several sets, having 8 or 9 total, and always hang them to dry after washing, so it isn’t user error. I’d give these 5 stars for the first few wears, then you’ll either have to buy new ones for compression or wear ones that don’t help smooth anything.

So far, 5 stars, but I must note that I only just received the compression shirt this week. I wore it the entire day yesterday. I typically wear a size large tee, but bought an XL compression shirt and now I understand why it is recommended to go at least one size up. I followed the directions to put it on by stepping into it, and although it was a bit of a struggle, it was fine. I lost a lot of weight years ago and consider myself a bit flabby, but one would never know it with this tee shirt on! Wow! Everything was “compressed” and although it was tight , it was not uncomfortable. Taking it off by sliding it down my body was easy. I’d never be able to put it on or take it off the conventional way. The length is such that it covered my butt halfway. It didn’t ride up at all. I was afraid the material would stick to my outer shirt, but it didn’t, and movement was fine. I actually did some gardening while wearing it and, although I was bending and stretching , it never moved. I wasn’t overly warm, but look forward to seeing if I can wear it in warmer weather without being uncomfortable. I’ll letcha know! It was fun being “slim” for a day! LOL!

These things are really quite amazing, ONCE YOU HAVE FOUND YOUR CORRECT SIZE. In my opinion, you should go two sizes up from the size you normally wear. There might be a little bit of "trial and error" to get your correct size, but once you have found that, you should buy several of that size. You will soon forget about the cost, you will be so thrilled. Extra skin from weight loss in man boobs, stomach, and love handles disappears. Didn't try them before losing the weight, but they couldn't hurt, expect maybe to discourage weight loss, which has to be foremost.

Fit was smaller than expected. Even with the previous reviews stating the item runs small, I sized up and the item was still too small. Recommend going up two sizes. Yes It is supposed to feel snug, but not impossible to put on. Overall material felt good and lightweight. Value for the money, I think is worth it as long as you get the right size.
