does this pen come with a converter as of this date

It didnt.. It did bring 2 ink refills within the pen. Just order the converter for this pen. But watch out. If you use ink from a bottle.. It stains heavily.. Within seconds..

Is this green ink or a green pen? My friend used to use these pens and may want to start up again - would like to buy him a gift.

It's a pen made of green colored plastic You can use any color ink you'd like. By the way Sailer has another version of this pen that's blue plastic. The important thing isn't the color however, it's the fact that the nib is bent at an angle that makes writing and drawing very interesting. It's also very reasonably priced. I really like the pen - but don't be surprised by the angle of the pen's nib.

My pen was delivered with no converter. Just one cartridge. Disappointing.

There are no instructions provided in English. However there are plenty of instructions available on You Tube if you Google "How to use a fude pen."
