Soothing Scalp Shampoo, For Itchy, Flaking Scalps Caused by Dandruff,Soothes Itchy Scalps, pH Balanced, 1 x 100ml

Recommended by a friend when I complained I can't find a solution for my flaky scalp, that nixoral dries my hair and can't be used constantly. Oilatum feels so much better on the skin and my ear lobes are clean of flaky dandruff too. Too expensive and too small in my opinion. Constantly trying to find something for alternative use, t-gel does not really work well either. So using this oilatum for emergency situations and other shampoos in the between to save on the overall cost. This is the best product for me. I wish they had a milder option for everyday use, or call it maintenance use.

After getting quite stressed due to work my eczema had a really bad flair up and for the first time ever I had eczema on my scalp. I tried all sorts to try and soothe it but it was so uncomfortably itchy. I had red scaly patches that were bleeding and awful dandruff from where I was scratching. I’ve only used this twice since I got it a few days ago but it really does work. I followed the directions and did a quick wash first followed by another wash that I left on for 3-5 minutes while I washed etc. I followed up with my normal conditioner just to my ends and my head was instantly soothed. After two washes my scalp is no longer bleeding or oozing from the patches of eczema. Still a bit dandruffy but I expect that as it heals. I have now bought a second bottle to keep on hand. The bottle may only be small but a little goes a long way. The smell is nice and fresh. I was concerned it would smell like the bath oil that they do as that has quite strong smell but this just smells clean and fresh. It didn’t leave my hair feeling dry at all which I was pleased about. The shampoo it’s self is clear and has no colour to it and it lathers up really nicely and rinses easily too. Would highly recommend!

Have only used once and already I have noticed a major difference in my scalp. I suffered from eczema and dry scalp as a child, but it clear up as I got older, but recently it came back with a vengeance. Couldn't brush my hair and put my hand through my hair without white flakes raining down. I have tried everything from using head and shoulders to trying coconut oil treatments and nothing was working. Looked up anti dandruff in the search on a whim one day and came across this product and thought for the sake of a tenner, I would give it a try. I am so happy I did! Used my regular shampoo first, then used the treatment shampoo after, since I heard from other reviews that it doesn't lather very well, but doing that I found it lathered ok. Been two days since and barely any flakes have fallen from my head! Normally even just after being washed and dried it would be falling everywhere, even with working the shampoo well into my scalp. Hopefully it'll completely go after using it more :)

So, I purchased this product today (12/01/22). Simple because I've used Oilatums other products for my skin, epically when my eczema is bad. I've gone through various products and wasted money on "professiosal" shampoos to help my psoriasis. Even recommended products such as E45 and T-Gel which were suggested by the eczema community. This only made my hair turn to straw, and made it smell horrible. It basically didn't do the job for me. Therefore, when I came across Oilatums version, I was more than happy to try. Particularly because it's cheap, and secondly, their other products have worked for my sensitive skin. This is day one, and I'm already seeing the results, normally it takes a week for things to clear up. But I can literally see my scalp after washing it! Which is pretty good! Please note that everyone is different, sometimes it can be quicker or longer to take effect. For those who suffer the same, I'd strongly recommend to apply it twice, then rise with hot water, not warm after 2-3 minutes. Your hair may seem knotted or straw like, only subtle. Therefore, I recommend using a good conditioner to smooth and soften that out. I use Tresemme's 'Botanique Norish & Replenish' which contains coconut oil and aloe vera. (Cruelty free). As model/actress, my scalp makes me very conscious. I hate people touching it because I don't like the comments. Especially if my psoriasis is showing on the day. So, here's to hoping that this will continue to progress with keeping my scalp fresh.

I was recently diagnosed with scalp psoriasis and my scalp was incredibly dry and flaky continuously. I tried so many shampoos as well as prescribed steroids, but they all seemed to be making my scalp drier, itchier and more flaky, particularly the coal tar ones. I have just used this shampoo today and saw an immediate improvement with no flaking after the wash, which is what usually happens when the hair starts to dry after washing. I would say this is not a shampoo for those with excessively greasy hair but if you are suffering with dry scalp you should definitely give it a try. I also have begun to use a scalp oil containing rosemary, bay and cedar, I rub it on the tips of my fingers and then use my fingertips to massage the scalp. If you leave the oil a while it starts to soften the scalp and reduce the flakiness.

One of the best products for scalp eczema. Leaves hair soft and soothes the scalp. Item arrived well packaged. Recommended.

Did anyone else get dunked in a bath of oilatum when they were a kid and almost broke their neck climbing out afterwards because your whole body was covered in a layer of slippery oil?! I’ve tried almost every dry scalp shampoo so When I came across this I thought I’d give it a go seeing as though the moisturising effects of the slippery layer of oil from my childhood baths used to last for days. I had very high hopes after the first wash but unfortunately I didn’t see a difference. I’m now on my fifth wash using this and my scalp has improved ever so slightly. It’s less itchy but still extremely dry.

On a besoin de très peu et c'est très efficaçe contre problemes de démangeaisons du cuir chevelu et les pellicules.

Ich bin mit dem Shampoo sehr zufrieden. Meine Kopfhaut hat sich spürbar verbessert, es juckt nicht mehr so und die Psoriasis hat sich verbessert. Shampoo ist zwar sehr teuer und die Flasche sehr klein, aber das Shampoo lässt sich gut verteilen und für die Haarwäsche reicht eine relativ kleine Menge des Shampoos. Mal abwarten, wie lange die positive Wirkung anhält.

Works for my dandruff, this is my second order

I bought it as I hate the smell of Stieprox Intensiv. But this just smell the same. But it works. Ich habe es gekauft, da ich den Geruch von Stieprox Intensiv nicht mag. Dieses Shampoo riecht leider genau gleich. Die Wirkung ist aber gut!

Das Zeug ist der Hammer, alle Schuppen der sehr starken Psoriasis innerhalb weniger Tage wie weggeblasen. Kein Juckreiz mehr. Gut Hautverträglich. Wenn nur der Preis nicht wäre, der ist schon sehr stolz...
