This is such a simple but effective way to prevent a total disaster mess on my patio, or inside floor when repotting. . Kind of like a vinyl tablecloth, but has snaps that make sides, so soil stays confined. Makes clean up quick and easy. I've used it a few times but can't speak to longevity. I know I won't be without one next planting season.

As in title, when I need to repot an indoor plant, I can’t go outside in the cold weather and mess around the dirt!! The first time I used this foldable tray I was amazed at how perfectly it worked. I re-potted my house plants with no spelling of dirt and with perfect results. I recently purchased what I am terming "plantshelves," similar to bookshelves but made to display plants indoors or out. (Mine are on the porch.) The small dining table and chairs there are excellent for repotting plants, adding them, pruning and trimming them, and changing their dirt. But I don't want to have to wash down the table or vacuum the floor when I am done so when this came up while I was looking at the shelves, I took a serious look at it. Well, it looked great and I thought it might just be what I needed. (I could use a large piece off aluminum foil but ultimately I would rather not keep using a disposable resource if something so reasonably priced would work better. And work better it does. I love the sides that come up and lock into place for working. There is sufficient room to work because the pots I have on the shelves are primarily small to medium sized. (For large pots, I resign myself to working on them without moving them and vacuuming up afterward if necessary.) The contained area is designed to be easy to clean up, and I can then take the excess dirt and dump it in my big garden. If water spills over, no problem. And finally, I don't have to waste paper towels; I just rinse it off with the hose. Wonderful.

This is such a handy and compact "tool". Great for collecting weeds, potting plants on a balcony or deck with minimal mess. Folds up nicely and takes up very little space.

It’s been helpful for transplanting indoors but the first does stick to it once in a while depending on the moisture in the plant. Can easily be wiped off, although it is quite large but I just fold it back up and leave it for next time when it’s dry.

I wish I had one of these a long time ago! I used to use an old towel inside or a piece of cardboard outside but this is the perfect gadget for the job! Now I can clean up without having a mess left afterwards. I have to sit on my step and place my pots in front of me on the ground to pot plants (I make about 50 assorted and various large pots with flowering plants, vines, etc). This is the only way I can do it with back problems and I hated the mess I would always make but this looks like it will be easy to use, easy to clean and easy to store year after year. I love that the corners snaps so you can make a stand up barrier or leave it flat. It was easy to replace in the original bag after opening it up and spreading it out. It looks like it can be easily wiped clean or hosed off. It’s also the perfect size in my opinion, big enough for large potting jobs but not too big to be unmanageable/too large to fit where needed. It’s April and I can’t wait to get outside and put it to use! I’m very happy I bought it and would recommend to others.
