Excellent gloves, wish I'd discovered them years ago.
Would highly recommend these gloves with the grips ( which cost slightly more) . A very useful safety precaution . I'm glad I took the time to check the sizing chart as I would have assumed I needed a medium but in fact, having measured my hands as per the seller's instructions, I ordered small and they fit perfectly. Not only do these stop you cutting yourself, they help grip what you're slucing/chopping but keep your hands clean during food preparation.

Life Changing Gloves
It seems that every time I make a purchase from Amazon, I am bombarded with requests for reviews which I do my best to ignore. These gloves are so amazing that I am bursting at the seams to share my experience. They arrived promptly, hand-delivered on a velvet cushion by a Victoria's Secret model. (Not something you see everyday, so it certainly bode well for my new purchase.) Carefully unwrapping these fabulous items, I slid them onto my hands with a feeling of excitement unusual for such a seemingly mundane purchase. No sooner had I got them all the way on, the phone rang. It was the MD of the company I work for telling me that as I was now the proud owner of the NoCry Cut Resistant Gloves I had won the company's annual Health And Safety Awareness prize. This year it was a holiday in the Caribbean. Furthermore, they would be doubling my contract fee in recognition of my new status as an owner of such a fabulous utility product. Feeling pretty buoyant, I left the house that evening, wearing my new gloves to the local eatery. I was interrupted many times by customers, passers-by and well-wishers complimenting me on my choice of attire. Despite cutting into my steak many times with the sharpest knives in the house, my hands were demonstrably cut free. Walking home was a joy. Drivers of passing cars honked and the passengers waved celebrating with me in their own small way. Even when the pleasant evening was interrupted by a passing shower, I found that I remained totally dry, such was the protective aura afforded by my new hand-wear. Retiring to bed that evening, I couldn't bear to remove my new best friends and as I drifted off into a satisfied sleep, I wondered what adventures we would embark on together in the coming days, weeks and years. Edit: Now that I have owned these gloves for several weeks, I can report that not only do they function fabulously well in their advertised protective role, they have other health benefits. My cholesterol level is now that of a teenager, I am a full two inches taller and my waistline has shrunk. I have more energy and am possessed with a tremendous sense of well-being. It has been said that I now look a little like George Clooney, but instead of permanently having a small cup of Espresso Coffee in my hands, I have gloves. Cut free ones. With magical powers.

Excellent gloves, good grip and protection. Sizing a little off
I bought a pair of NoCry gloves a while back in medium and they've served me very well, in fact they're still going strong. However, I always have to wear nitrile or latex gloves over the top for grip so when I saw they now sold gloves with grips I figured why not. For the most part, they're identical - they offer the same excellent protection (I wear them when using blades) and are very comfortable to wear. There's one problem with them for me however, the medium in this glove is not the same size as the the medium in the old glove. My old gloves fit like a second skin and allowed excellent dexterity when paired with nitrile gloves. The new ones are much bigger which means the ends of my fingers don't reach the end of the glove fingers and I can't grasp or manipulate objects like I should be able to, rendering the grips far less useful than they should be. It made me wonder if my old gloves had shrunk but I remember getting them and thinking what a nice snug fit they were - I purposely bought a medium so they would have to stretch a little. So I don't know if they've changed the sizing, or if there's been a labelling mistake, but assuming it's not then if I were to buy them again I'd probably have to buy a small which is daft considering I normally buy a large. So it's four stars for the quality and features of the gloves, but a star knocked off for the sizing issue. I haven't seen any other reviews complaining about the sizing so perhaps mine is just a one off, but it makes me reluctant to buy another pair now just in case. Not the end of the world but still, worth a mention.

They served me well. Job done and safely.
The felt comfortable and very safe around broken and sharp plastics and splintered wood. I wasnโt able to pick up tiny pieces of debris with my fingertips due to the joins. However, this was of little importance for the jobs I was doing and I used a vacuum and brush for those shards. Im very pleased.

Wonderful for using a mandoline to cut fruit
When researching mandolines one review on Amazon suggested I got a pair of no cut gloves to protect my fingers. I had not realised such things existed. SO I researched them and found NoCry gloves. I bought a pair along with my new mandoline which I needed to sliced cooking apples (what a huge crop this year). I often nick my thumb and fingers on mandolines because I dont use the item provided for gripping the fruit. This time my fingers and thumb are intact and I found I had much more confidence to tackle the job. THe gloves fit well and grip well. I did find the fingers a bit long but were ok once I pushed them further up my fingers. I threw the packaging away!!!! I would love to have some washing instructions as the one glove I wore got quite wet with apple juice. Incidentally it would be good for us mandoline users to be able to buy two gloves the same hand as I know I wont be using the other glove at all.

Very well made
Very well made, just as described . I ordered the medium (I usually go for a size 7 ladies glove)which I find ok but the palm fit is a little looseโฆ.the fingers fit snuggly and also the wrist. Maybe the small would have been sufficient but then again, would the fingers be a little tight ๐ค Having said that, Iโm very pleased with them and the non slip coating on the inner side is very good for stabilizing the item being cut. Iโve recently bought a new set of kitchen knives which are much sharper than my old ones, hence the purchase of these glovesโฆi feel more confident using the knives when wearing the gloves. I would definitely recommend.

The best
The best. In cut protection, durability, dexterity, and value. I had a mixup in the handing, but the issue was resolved within hours. So also the best in customer service, thatโs if you'll actually need it.

Whittling glove
I bought these for small whittling projects. They are good for saving your fingers from any scrapes and nicks. They fit nicely, not too tight, and are breathable. I found out the hard way that they are not stab-proof! But I am yet to find a pair of carving gloves that are.

Just arrived
These arrived today. I took a risk and trusted the size guide on the site ... they fit - but it is a tight fit. The hand section is a nice firm fit but the fingers are made for skinnier ones than mine. I am expecting them to have a bit of stretch in them so with some wear they should be just right. My son didn't think they looked cut proof and tried them out for himself. He is happy to confirm they work a treat for a slicing action but not so much for a stab - he was smart enough to take his hand out before trying that one :-)

Excellent value for kitchen cutting safety gloves.
When working with kitchen items such as a mandolin, it's almost a given that your hand will get bitten if you're mindlessly slicing without using a safety device. Not wanting to shred my hands, I purchased these gloves. Trying on the gloves, I found that they were snug, and fit as per the sizing guidelines. The grip texturing is only on one side, so they can not be interchanged between left and right. If you lose a glove, you'll be stuck either using the other hand, or not having the texture on your opposite hand. Feel: while wearing them, at no point did I forget they were on my hands, as they were snug, but they did not restrict movement. Safety: the sole reason for purchasing these gloves. Prior to using my mandolin, I ran a sharp kitchen knife across my fingers, and found it resisted it as I was hoping. While using the mandolin to slice vegetables, I increasingly gained trust in using the gloves, as I did catch my fingers a few times while quickly slicing many small potatoes. While I knew I had just contacted the blade, the gloves served their purpose, and I was unharmed. I was dubious that I might leave some textile on my food, but never noted anything left behind either while handling peeled potatoes, nor seeing foreign debris when I transferred the slices for cooking. Hygiene: while using these gloves, they will pick up residue from whatever you're cutting. A hand wash in dish detergent and then air dry was all that was required to feel safe using them for the next day's task. If switching from raw meat to veg, hand washing in detergent and a thorough rinse will get you back on task quickly. Conclusion: These gloves worked as expected, are comfortable to use during kitchen work, and certainly made using a mandolin a quicker experience (allowing faster operation, and not spending time on inserting the cutting guard). If you're concerned about being cut while handling a knife or grater, these are good gloves. If you own a mandolin, these gloves should be in your inventory.
