Ecxellent for me, but maybe not for everyone?
After getting one of the kids to slo-mo video me running, it was obvious that I was over pronating (ankles collapsing inward). This was leading to very painful calf muscles and the dreaded shin splints. I run with Asics Gel Nimbus 20 proper running shoes that already have an insole fitted, but they don't provide the same level of arch support that these insoles do. Anyway, I did my first 5K parkrun with them today and, although it's early days, I haven't had any leg pain whereas previous parkruns have left me in agony! I'm not saying these will be the cure for everyone, but so far it looks like they have done a good job for me. UPDATE: I'm now on my second pair of these and can thoroughly recommend them for runners. Don't get the sports ones because they are incredibly heavy compared to these 'comfort' ones. Not much point in spending 200 quid on a pair of ultra-light shoes then adding insoles that weigh almost as much. They needed a slight trim with scissors to fit my size 8, but that took all of 30 seconds to do. Initially they take some getting used to as the high arch support feels like it's digging into your feet, but stick with them for a few days and you won't notice it. I wore them for just a few hours before this morning's run, and during the run I can't say that I really noticed them to be honest. The slight discomfort was ten times easier than the lower leg pain that I have been suffering with. Highly recommended :-)

Good quality and very supportive.
I was recently diagnosed as having Plantar Fasciitis. The doctor advised anti inflammatory gel, massage and insoles or good supportive shoes. I purchased a pair of 3/4 insoles from the limited selection in a local chemist store. They did give relief, but I found that they moved inside my shoe. Although not entirely successful they did prove that insoles could quickly relieve the pain - I just needed to find better quality, full insoles. It was while I was searching for a foot massager on Amazon that I came across the FootActive brand. I ordered these and also another cheaper brand. The FootActive ones were the first ones to arrive. I'm on my feet all the time I'm at work in a warehouse, so I put them in my work safety shoes. The relief was instant and I felt an improvement in my general posture too! When the cheaper insoles arrived I noticed that the main difference was that the arch support was not quite as high or firm as the FootActive ones, but they were perfectly OK for my general shoes. The FootActive ones will stay in my work shoes, where my feet need the most help. The instructions do suggest that initially, wear them for a couple of hours at a time, to get used to them. I did not find this necessary. At first the arch support does feel high, but after a few minutes, once my shoes and feet have warmed, they feel very comfortable.

A definite 4 stars (possibly 5!)
After sustaining an Achilles tendon injury my physiotherapist suggested I got this product as it provided sufficient support for my foot arches and she regarded as good value for money when compared to similar but more expensive products. They were delivered on time and packaged well, and fit my work shoes perfectly (after trimming then with a pair of scissors using the size guides on the underside of the insoles). I have only been wearing them for a few days but they are comfortable even after wearing them all day. Since I am "flat footed" they are helping me to adjust my walking gate and reduce tension on my Achilles area. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is because I have only used them for a short time, and I have not used any other brand and so cannot compare them. That said I intend to buy this product again for my other footwear based upon what I know so far.

Heel pain, back pain all gone. Fantastic!
I'm a 33 year old guy. I have always worn converse chuck Taylor baseballs shoes and never had a problem with discomfort or heel pain before. I recently bought some dr martens boots for the winter and the rain, and that's when I started to have heel pain etc. I remember going to a gig with a friend. We had standing tickets and i remember hopping from one foot to the other with severe discomfort in the ball of my heel. i aslo had pain in my calves and the small of my back. There was nothing wrong with the boots, I think that my feet don't like gents shoes/boots that have a heel! Even when the boots were 'broken in' they still hurt my feet. So I decided to give these a try and the pain and discomfort has all gone! I can't believe it! I'm very happy as it means I can wear decent footwear again without issue. For £20 it's a great fix to a problem that can cause a fair bit of misery. I'd happily pay double for these. One issue is that, like some of the other reviewers, I had to trim them down. Not a prob at all but I would probably order one size smaller next time. Also, they aren't 'big' , but they do take up a bit of extra room than you might be used to so with certain footware, you may benefit from wearing thinner socks.

Great buy, over pronation pain in feet joints and knees reduced if not eliminated.
Initially causes mild discomfort in the arch of the foot, but I assume it's just realigning your foot, so it would be uncomfortable at first. After wearing it for 2 weeks I noticed considerable reduction in ball of foot and heel pain- I hardly get any at all!! Since I spend 8 hours a day standing in smart shoes it's made my life so much more comfortable! They can't be used in snug fitting shoes since they do add to the height of the shoe, but remarkably they are much more shallow than thought they'd be. These ones aren't so breathable for your feet though, if wearing for a long period of time I'd recommend one of the more breathable ones. They do take a lot of patience in trimming to fit your show, but are very recommended. They've stopped my over pronation of my left foot and I feel much better for it and am planning to buy another pair soon. Only bad point is that all my shoes without an insole feel uncomfortable XD

Very good product, size too large.
I had custom-made soles made by a podiatrist but needed a new pair urgently. Since these ones are one piece, I think it'll be much easier to place them in different pairs of shoes without damaging them too much. I initially bought them to put them in my walking shoes but finally used them in some Vans slip-ons while travelling abroad for 4 days. I had no pain at all although I walked a LOT, so they work just as well as the one I got from a podiatrist ! I felt very pleased about it, since it means I can buy more in the future with no worry. I'd like to try the ones fit for the gym next. One default I would say : my UK feet size is between 7.5 (trainers, boots) and 8 (sandals, leather city shoes). I bought a medium size which is from 7 to 8.5 but ended cutting to size 7. So the soles might be a bit too long by default ? I might have to buy a smaller size in hope for them to fit inside my walking shoes which have a lot more padding inside.

super semelle !!!

ottimi plantari
