These are the best pillows I’ve ever owned. I originally bought a pair for my husband and I about 5 yrs ago and we loved them so much, i immediately bought them for both of our children also. Since then, these are still our favorite pillows. The cooling affect is really nice but even without that, they’re just really good, heavy, super comfortable pillows. We take them with us literally everywhere we go if we’re staying overnight because we don’t sleep good with other pillows now. I praised them so much that my sister bought them and of course loved them and bought them for both of her children also. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a good quality, super comfortable pillow that has the added bonus of the cooling gel(that really does work great btw).

Got the pillow yesterday. Used it for the first time last night. I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars trying to find a pillow that would support my head and neck because of cervical spine problems while helping with excessive sweat in my hair and night shirt waking up cold and wet every morning. This morning..NOTHING!!! Dry as a bone, warm not hot or cold, and my neck feels wonderful. Thank you so much for this pillow. I was skeptical last night because it really didn't feel cool to the touch and kinda squishy. But unbelievably it absorbed any sweat during the night, wisked it away, and gave me a FULL night's rest without waking even once (which hasn't happened in a very very long time). If you're on the fence, get this pillow and give it a chance. It worked wonders for me. I don't usually review my products I receive but I couldn't wait to tell everyone about this one!!

I bought this pillow for the cooling pad. I'm sure that it makes a difference and is probably really nice for other people who run hot at night but I'm taking medications that cause insane night sweats. I don't think any cooling pillow or breathable bedding can help that. I am amazed at the memory foam however. Comfy pillows are hard to find! I just tried my first memory foam pillow a year ago from Walmart and it was way too hard and gave me a headache. But this is perfect! The only things I don't like: 1: it does smell pretty strong. Night 1 I sprayed my husbands cologne on it (yum!) but last night it wore off and was gross but not enough to make me get up and grab more spray. I'm sure the smell will go away soon. 2: I'm a side sleeper. I normally sleep with 2 pillows but this is perfect fluff that I only need one. But I notice my arms painfully falling asleep really quickly bc im putting too much pressure on my shoulder. This doesn't say it's for a side sleeper so totally not knocking off a star for that. I'll try adding an extra pillow underneath tonight. Despite my 2 cons and the fact that the cooling part doesn't cool ME (bc my issues are internal, not external factors like a warm pillow) I absolutely give this 5 stars bc of the memory foam! And for the price! I didn't expect much for this price but I'd pay twice as much if I had known how great it would be!

First off, I love that this pillow has a case for storage. Once I took it out it smelled absolutely HORRIBLE of chemicals. After letting it sit alone in a room for 2-3 days, I was finally able to lay my head on it without feeling nauseous. I have another cool gel pillow that you can instantly feel the cooling sensation, so I was a little disappointed to not feel it. After a minute or to of just relaxing, I started to feel it. It's a very comfortable cool, not too cold; unlike my other one which my husband has stolen so I had to get another and thought to try this one. The pillow is firm but not too firm. It's comfortable laying on my back with my hands to my side as well as comfortable when I'm laying on my side and put my arm under the pillow to cuddle with it. The price was good, product seems of quality and I hope it lasts as long as the other one [I think it's a Sensopedic Cool Gel but I can't find it locally anymore and online prices were ridiculously high]. I like that when I'm laying on my side I don't have to turn to the other side because the pillow cools too well [unlike the other]; so it's quite perfect for me and I love it.

I have used a cooling memory foam pillow with a gel top for several years, but a few months ago, I purchased what I thought would be memory foam that turned out to be cut up pieces of foam. I tried to like it, but it just got worse and worse. It left me with terrible neck, shoulder, and back pain every day. I decided to purchase this pillow because it looked similar to my last pillow similar to this one. The very first night with this, I slept better than I had in months! This pillow is pretty firm, so if you want something squishy, this ain't it! The cooling gel on the top keeps my head fairly cool most of the night. I have to move a bit at night to reach that cool area again. I have regained support in my neck and shoulders and wake up without pain. This pillow retains it shape without making you have to fluff it up throughout the night, again, it's a firm pillow. The support in my spine is great! I usually sleep on the edge of my pillow due to sinus issues, so the size of this pillow is excellent and I no longer have to sleep on the edge. So many other reviews complained of a terrible smell from this pillow, but I opened this one, let it decompress for a day or two, and there is no odor at all. After a bit over a week with this pillow, I am beyond happy with it. If you're looking for a firm, cooling pillow that keeps its shape and provides great support for your head, neck, and shoulders, this is the one.

I had high hopes for this cooling pillow after spending a good 2 weeks looking at every darn product on the market. I can't afford the copper Envy pillows that cost nearly $200 a piece - nor did I want the oddly contouring ones that help with your neck alignment, but for me would be uncomfortable and not accent the cooling impact I needed. I also didn't want the ones that appeared to need cooling in a fridge before bedtime or those that had a leaking problem. This classic brand seemed to get over-all favorable comments. I agree that the pillow is nicely soft and comfortable against your neck/face and spine. It is a very heavy pillow due to the memory foam that makes up most of the back and front of the pillow. The top part has the cooling gel in tiny clear/light blue vinyl pockets and that is the side I used the most as I am having night sweats galore these days. I would say the first two weeks the pillow worked pretty good. Upon laying my head at night, I would get a very slight cooling effect that helped ease me off to sleep. If I awoke during the night and felt warm again, I would just roll to another part of the pillow unused and same impact would occur and lull me back to sleep. For some reason, I don't feel I am getting that mild cooling effect any longer? You could feel it with your hand just touching the blue top of the pillow in the beginning it was that identifiable. Let your head hit the pillow and ah, light cooling relief. So, I am baffled why it worked and now no longer? I did not get any special instructions in my carry all case so, unsure if there is something special required after awhile? If anyone has a suggestion feel free to let me know. I don't want to downgrade a possibly good product if I am doing something wrong. But, if the claim the pillow makes is not valid, they deserve to get a negative view to keep suspecting buyers away. So for me, worked at first, but no longer. I bought a cooling mat at Amazon at the same time and that continues to work perfect. I will buy a second one of that today, but second NO classic brand cooling pillow. The claim of softness is true - cooling is off. High hopes dashed. Oh well....I'll keep searching.
