How many of these a day should you feed an average sized cat?

My six month old kitten has half a tin in the morning and another half in the evening - one tin a day, but also has access to as much complete dry kitten food as she wants. She loves the fish flavors and licks the plate clean, she eats the chicken but not as keen. My daughter's large tabby cat has the same food and two tins a day and also complete dry food. This food was recommended by the breeder of my kitten who is a vet, who gave me a dozen tins to start with. Always make sure cat has access to fresh water all the time, and do not give milk.
