Very Good Containers. Strong & Easy to Clean.
After reading reviews which left me with unclear / mixed answers prior to my purchasing these containers, I decided to buy them and see for myself what's up. Now that I've viewed and used them, I'll do my best to give the clear answers to clear up any confusion that other potential buyers might also have. Please see my review's photos for reference material. I marked each photo with a letter so you can 'see' what I'm talking about. - QUESTION: Some reviews say the containers leak, others say they don't. Which is the correct answer? - ANSWER: Yes and no. The compartments themselves are solid, but there is a small gap between the compartments' edges and the container lid. If you look at Photo A, you will see that I am pointing at the edges which are too low to meet the lid. Because there is a small gap, if the container is turned on its side, upside-down, or shaken around, liquids will ooze or spill between that low spot into the other compartments. That is the 'leak' people have spoken of. However, with the lid sealed in place there will not be any spilling / leaking OUTSIDE of the container; it will all be kept inside. - QUESTION: Is there a way to prevent leaks? - MY ANSWER: Yes. I used safe, food-grade silicone sealant (purchased separately and cheaply) to draw a little line of the sealant along the edges which are pointed out in Photo A. After the sealant dried, it worked as a complete barrier between the edge and the lid -- so there was no sloshing between the gap. - QUESTION: Do the compartments themselves leak into each other? - MY ANSWER: No. Aside from that small gap mentioned in Question #1 and pointed out in Photo A, there are no gaps between the compartments. Their walls are solid. In Photo B, you can see that I placed 3 different-colored liquids in each compartment, each at different levels so that you can clearly see they're blocked. There is no mixing or leaching of liquids between the compartment walls themselves. - QUESTION: Do the lids have trouble fitting on the containers? - MY ANSWER: Yes and no. First you'll need to make sure the seal is pressed all the way into its groove, just like -any- sealing lid. Then there's a specific trick for getting the lids on properly: the flaps need to be lifted outward, almost even to the rest of the lid. You can see this in Photo C. After the flaps are straight, set the lid on the container and then press the opposite flaps upward at the same time until they snap into place. If the flaps aren't even to the lid when you try to push them downward, you'll have a hard time and struggle to clasp it on; they won't go, or the lid will start sliding ajar. Once the lid is secured, however, it is on firmly and will not slip or allow leaks past. - QUESTION: Do the lids' seals fall out? - MY ANSWER: Except for issues where the seal is legitimately broken (cracked / snapped in half), the seal is supposed to be removable. You can see this in Photo D. This removal enables you to clean out the lid's groove, and to clean / sanitize the seal (else if food gets beneath and it's never washed, bacteria and / or mold will grow; this is fact for any product with a seal like this). Once the seal is dry, you can press it back into the groove with your fingertips. Make sure it's firmly and all the way in the groove, else it'll cause you some difficulty with snapping the lid on -- which, again, is true for every product with a lid like this.

Perfect, durable containers for cooking, micro, and leftovers.
I have several sizes, but this size is definitely the 'goldilocks' size for me. The glass is nice and thick, and so far the tops have stayed leak proof. As I said I have several of these containers and the tops are all easy for me to open and close. Of course I washed the pieces before putting them away, and I did not notice any order.

Very nice, but......
The containers themselves are very nice. Sturdy. Lids fit well, except the round ones are a little iffy - trying to put straight snaps on a rounded edge. Here is what I do not like about them: 1. They nest, they sure do. However, they nest so tightly that you can't even get a finger in between them, so every time you need a container, you would have to pull out the pile of that shape and dig down one at a time to get to the one you want. Better engineering would have been to leave a bit of space, in my opinion. See picture on how we decided to store them so it isn't such a pain. And they don't move around like this. Not what I intended originally, but will suffice. 2. These are kind of small. We could never get rid of our bigger plastic. Will we replace the bigger plastic - not sure. I made 3 hamburger patties yesterday with the Cuisinart burger maker and had to pull a bigger plastic container. Not only are none wide/long enough for even 2 burgers, but none were tall enough to accommodate even 2 of our burgers (we did make them on the thicker side). That to me is disappointing. I'm sure there are costs associated with size but I for one would have been willing to pay more for the biggest one to be bigger and then stagger down with space left in between to be able to get them apart easily when nested. Hopefully, these last so it's not like a yearly expense. 3. I think the communication is confusing. And no communication came with the product. In a video posted by the company, it shows the containers going in the freezer, but wording says you can't. Dishwashing instructions are lacking/confusing and even in querying this in QA and reviews, you get mixed messages. So, I don't know if the lids can go in the top rack of the dishwasher. Things should be far more clear! Some people recommend looking on the product for what it says. Our products have absolutely no guidance. At a minimum, they should include one sheet of clear instructions in each package. We are going to go with the thought that the lids can only go in the fridge. Period. Which also is disappointing. These will work for us on some occasions. They certainly don't solve all our food storage needs. Probably not even half. We will keep them and use them for what we can. Trying to get away from so much plastic. UPDATE - I’ve been using these for a while and they are very nice. Very sturdy. The glass is hefty and I bought these due to borosilicate glass. The suggestions above I do wish they’d take into account, however, the product itself is very nice. Also - the smaller containers have lid instructions engraved! Hadn’t even noticed! Second UPDATE - wanted to let some time pass to see if storing them with lids ON would eventually be an issue because of weight. It has not been an issue! In fact, it’s very handy to store them this way! No digging for kids that if stored separately would have been a jumbled mess! They remain very nice containers which we would get again.

Great for smaller size portions.
I bought these trying to replace my plastic containers. The glass is thick & seems sturdy. They're the perfect size for lunch or even using at home. It's on the small side but it helps with not over eating. Something I wish I knew before buying is about the lids. They come with a silicone ring but sometimes it's hard to pinch it to get it off. The ring sits deeply in the lid with a small opening. Then you have the vent ring. I put this in the dishwasher & of course water is trapped in it. So I have to pop it off so it can dry. It's actually easier than the silicone ring. Sometimes the way the silicone ring comes off it makes me wonder if it's going to last. Even if it doesn't, the container is still a great little bowl to eat out of at home. But the vent option on the lid is actually the best I've seen. I'm not saying don't buy it because of the rings. Its something people need to be aware of since everyone's needs are different. People might not want to buy something they have to pop off. Other than that I'm pretty happy with it.

Great for lunches, and spill proof
Great quality, thick glass and the lids have a ceiling ring so my husband’s soups that I packed for lunch don’t spill! 10 out of 10 would buy again!

Lids do not fit well - disappointing and frustrating ==> a Sorry Post Card afterwards
After my review was submitted (see below) I received a sorry post card (see the photos attached - it was addressed to my mom as the set was a gift to her) which made me think now and then. They actually bothered to read the review and respond to it with a physical card, a substantial quality card, I might add. This sort of attitude is what we really need, frankly even more than the actual product in some sense. I'm sure they will improve the qualify of it if not already done so. Or could it have been a lemon as I said, unlucky me perhaps. I was thinking about upgrading the rating to between four and five for sometime and doing it with five! I must have been moved apparently! I did not call the number, but Thank you for the card. ========= My Initial Review =========== The lids on this product does not fit well and does not snap in well. Quite often I find myself trying different orientations seeking for better fits - all lids should be locked in, I figure. Sometimes this effort pays off and you place them in the refrigerator gently so that none of these lids do not popup up while doing so. Often after some battle I'm happy with three, or even two in occasions, getting snapped in. Notice you have four lids and having one or two not securely locked seems troubling. Even when it snaps in, it does not have that feeling of secure fit that I take granted with other brands of similar containers. I browsed through Amazon comments and some noted this shortcomings with low ratings, but majority of comments seem positive which makes me wonder. Did I get lemons somehow? I almost always place them in the refrigerator so that food smell does not escape and/or the content does not dry out too fast; i.e. good secure seal required. Maybe the cool temperature has something to do with the rubber fitting over time? But then I recall not liking the fits the first time I used it. I always say "What a crap!". It's like a toaster that does not sit in when you pressed the lever down. This sort of thing should simply work! Very annoying experience. Some were noting that the lids break off, but that did not happen to me over 18 months or so, but the fit was never there. I'm thinking throwing them all out and get a bit more expensive ones as I remember getting these for good price. Maybe you get what you pay for, but then this is Amazon's choice as well. Go figure. Anyway one cool thing about Amazon purchase is that you can vent out your frustration - commenting on product defect or short comings like this. After one and a half year of frustration with the use of this product, I was compelled to write a review; not doing so seems not doing a justice somehow. I hope the product got better with the fit by now (mine was purchased on May, 2018 and today is Oct 22, 2019).

Highly recommend glass meal prep containers
The glass meal prep containers are ideal for any individual who enjoys saving time and money by meal prepping. This container set came in a five pack, making it perfect for anyone who is looking to meal prep lunches to take to work with them. It has a separating bar in the middle so your fruits, vegetables, carbs or protein will not touch and the two halves are great for portion control. The glass containers are also see through, making the food inside easily visible. When purchasing a food container, most look for ones that are microwave safe, dishwasher safe, inexpensive and durable. Container: The glass material prevents the containers from breaking down in the long run, which is commonly found in most plastic containers. Since glass can handle heat; this container provides a microwavable safe dish for reheating leftover food. The glass is thick, strong and sturdy, which prevents the container from shattering if dropped on the ground or hit against something. The product fell out of the fridge when I first used it, but upon inspection, there were no cracks in the glass and the lid was still tightly on. The food contents inside did not spill out of the container, nor did they mix together inside. The size is small enough and nicely compact that it could easily fit into a lunch bag or the fridge. The glass is also easily washable and can be cleaned by hand or by dishwasher. Lid: The lids tighten on all four sides by clasps, and use a soft, rubbery plastic to line the area where the lid connects with the container and around the clasps, which prevent any leakage of the food. The flat, glass lid allows for other containers to easily be stacked on top of them, making more room for other items either in the fridge or lunch bag. In conclusion, the five-pack glass meal prep containers, with two compartments, are highly recommended. This product is microwave and dishwasher safe; it is durable; and lastly, it is inexpensive.

Perfect for meal prep
I have been using this for quite some time now, and no issues with it. It’s the right size for my meal prep and packed lunch for work. Lids are still working well, tight sealed and leak-proof.

Li ricomprerei assolutamente, molto consigliati.
