I ordered the Lions curved focus pads to use during boxing drills and cardio workouts, and they’ve been absolutely spot on. Whether you’re a beginner just starting out or someone more experienced looking for reliable training gear, these pads are well-made, easy to use, and offer fantastic value for money. They come as a pair and are slightly curved, which helps catch punches naturally and reduces wrist strain. The outer material is synthetic leather, and it feels sturdy and easy to wipe clean — ideal when things get sweaty during a long session. The padding is firm but forgiving, providing plenty of shock absorption for both trainer and striker. You can really feel the structure behind each hit, and they’ve handled hundreds of jabs, crosses and hooks without any sign of wear or breakdown. They’re compact too, so ideal for speed work and close-quarters training. What impressed me most was the comfort and security of the hand compartment. The gloves mould nicely to your hands and the wrist strap ensures they stay in place even when the punches come hard and fast. They fit both small and larger hands comfortably. I’ve used them both at home and in a gym setting, and they've held up beautifully. I’ve also let others use them during pad drills and everyone commented on how nice the feel was — responsive without being punishing. Only minor issue: they’re not the thickest pads out there, so if you're planning on training with very heavy hitters or full power shots regularly, you might want to invest in a slightly more heavy-duty pair. But for general training, fitness boxing, and technique work, they’re absolutely brilliant. In summary, these focus pads offer great performance, durability and comfort at an affordable price point. Highly recommended for boxing, kickboxing, or general combat sport training!

Joining a boxercise class i quickly decided that I didn't want to use the gym supplied ones, they clean them but we live in a covid world these days so I wanted ones that only I use. These pads are great for the boxercise class and combined with the boxing gloves I purchased they get me through the classes without having to use multi user equipment. The sturdy padding absorbs the impact of the punch nicely and after regular use they seem to be holding up just fine. The colour scheme is nice and stands out from the gym supplied kit so there is no getting confused. The finger grips/glove at the back is good and the pads can be worn on either hand due to the way the finger gaps are configured and it doesn't take away and grip or comfort. I would say this is a well thought out and designed pad which is ideal for classes of this nature and probably standard boxing practice.
