Great strings

I used these strings on a Gretsch Electromatic Baritone guitar with a Bigsby. The main reason for this choice was the fact that they were long enough to fit properly. Ernie Ball sets weren't long enough.

Great strings and are long enough fur a 30” scale guitar.

I use these strings for Drop A down to Drop G on a six-string guitar. Since there still aren’t many proper string sets designed for very low tunings on standard six-string guitars, these baritone sets are one of the better options. It’s frustrating that most heavier six-string sets only seem to go as low as C standard, so more low-tuning options would be useful. These are also fairly expensive, which is why I’m giving them four stars. That said, they’re D’Addario, so the tuning stability, durability, feel, tone, and overall sound quality are exactly what I’d expect. A solid set, just pricey and not perfectly targeted at this kind of tuning.

Needed adjustment of the truss rod, bridge and nut to take the thicker strings and to get the low E (now the low A) into intonation with the 12th fret; or is it 12th with the open - towards the 24th is naturally going to be off as the strings get heavier without a baritone neck..

strings were fine but am still a dreadful guitarist

If you're wanting something a tad fatter than Ernie Ball's "Not Even Slinky" range these are the perfect step up.

Exactly what my son ordered. He is happy with them.
