there are no detailed ingredients on the product description . . any ideas please? And specifically, are they gluten free? thank you

Apart from peas (69%) the ingredients are listed: waxy maize starch, sugar, palm oil, corn starch, sugar, salt, wasabi powder, mustard, maltodextrin.e100, e133, e141. Product made in factory that handles nuts and sesame.

What are the 'use by' dates like on these wasabi peas? are people getting more than 4 weeks from ordering? thanks

Hello, they usually have at least a 3 months on them.Thanks,Sushisushi.

Are these genuine Wasabi? Or are they using horseradish like most other 'wasabi' products?

These DO NOT contain wasabi, and for good reason. The volatile compound that gives wasabi it's flavour and heat is released when the rhizome is grated and exposed to the air, and fades after about 20 minutes. If it's not fresh it is definitely not wasabi and anyone telling you otherwise is mistaken. The label is misleading and tells you in brackets what the components of the preceding "ingredient" are :Wasabi powder (wasabi essence (mustard), maltodextrin)).

How long do these last if the jar is left unopened (i.e. time left on expiry date)? I am considering buying them for a party that is 2 months away.

i bought a jar end of october, using some almost every day-still ok. They vary in strength from tasty to "fire in the hole"
