delivered on time, and works.
I was trying to use the built in mic on my Bose QC25 with my pc for gaming. At the same time I ordered this, I also ordered a ModMic 5 and a usb sound card, figuring one of the solutions would get me up and running. While using this cable did function, the sound was low, and a little "dirty". Not the fault of the cable though, as it was working as intended, and I suspect it's more of a Bose/mobo/windows issue. I did end up using the the ModMic 5 with the usb sound card as the sound was significantly better. Nothing wrong with the cable, and the quality appears quite good.

Perfect for those with a separate mic & headphone jack on their PC
This headset splitter is perfect for anybody who has a computer that has a separate mic jack and headphone jack. I was working from home for a while and needed to be able to participate in conference calls on the computer. I ordered this splitter and it works great with the normal wired earpods I had laying around. The only thing I had to do was go into my computer audio settings to increase the microphone gain in order for people to hear me, but once I did that it works great. If I had to guess, I would think that was due to the my mic, not the splitter. The blue trim surrounds that the 3.5mm plugs extend from are metal which gives it a premium feel (I was expecting them to be plastic), and the rubber wire insulation is thick, so it doesn't feel like it will snap from hanging at an angle all day. Overall I am very satisfied with this splitter, and ended up purchasing a second one to use for my personal computer.

Works perfectly, Excellent Quality
This audio converter splitter wire allow me to plug in a Gaming Headset (Headphone Left+Right, mono Microphone Output) which has a TRRS (Tip=left, Ring=right, Ring=microphone, Sleeve=common-ground) connector at the end of it's wire, INTO, a PC Computer which has "separate" Stereo Audio output Jack (Tip=left, Ring=right, Sleeve=common-ground), plus a Microphone Jack (Tip=microphone, Ring=microphone, Sleeve=common-ground), where the Tip is connected to the Ring for the monophonic microphone. My headphone is a "HyperX Cloud II", PC is Asus Maximus X Hero motherboard. This 12.8" long converter wire works perfectly, and is excellent quality, good value to me.

Great build with a little feedback
Great product! I bought this for my stock Samsung headphones to be split into a standard headphone jack and mic jack for gaming. Totally works, but the only thing is that when I wiggle the headphone to splitter port, it does give some slight feedback noise in the headphones. As long as that portion is somehow resting on the desk or you don't mind the noise (I turn up the volume in game anyway), this is a great splitter. Strong durable material and effective material.

Awesome for the price
So I found out the hard way when we purchased my son another gaming pc that to be able to use the mic and the headphones simultaneously I needed a splitter and bb didn’t have any but Amazon of course did and it works swimmingly!

Check compatibility or if your earbuds will work before purchase!
I like the material. Very sturdy and hard. Can definitely tell that this will last you for a long time. My biggest issue was that it didn’t work with my computer. I’ve plugged it in accordingly and when the audio is fine. The mic portion does not pick up whatsoever but gives a screeching noise constantly until I unplug it. UPDATE: It's been approx a week after purchase and I have tried it again. Same settings, same setup everything the same. BUT IT WORKED THIS TIME. I'm not entirely sure how it all of a sudden worked or what happened but it's now working as intended. I do want to bring up that the customer service is of the utmost quality. They instantly reached out to me about the product and offered to give me another cable and gave me a few troubleshoot ideas right off the bat. Happy to have purchased these and even happier to see how quick they were to jump onto helping me when I needed it. Would recommend! 10/10!

Solid cable, great for daily use
If, like me, you are working from home, you are almost certainly making a heavy use of headphones. In the last 6 months, I had to replace several headphones because of frayed cables (especially at the jack level). Nothing is worse than having a headset die on you during a Zoom meeting. So I took two actions: I invested in better headphones, and I bought better cables. Several of my audio cables died on me after months of constant use. The failure modes I observed on these dead cable were: thin, easily worn plastic sheath exposing the delicate inner wires, bending that lead to internal wires fraying and breaking by fatigue, and connectors developing bad contacts due to corrosion and creating audio losses and scratchy sound glitches. So I wanted gold plated connectors, solid jacks, and robust cables. I found that this cable meet these specs at a very reasonable price. It is a simple splitter to connect a regular single-jack headphone to a PC that has a sound card with separate (microphone + speakers) sound jacks. It has gold-plated connectors and a braided cable. It comes with a small Velcro for easy storage. Also, these guys are very eager to make sure their customers are satisfied, so it's nice to see people who are receptive to user feedback. Most of the commodity connector supplies are unreachable or couldn't care less. So, if you are fed up with cables and headphones breaking due to rough use, get a quality headphone and good cables.

I have a headset with mic that only has one jack. My PC requires me to plug in the speakers and microphone separately. With this splitter, I didn't have to shell out for a new headset. Works just fine - it might occasionally not register on start-up but unplugging and plugging back in fixes the issue.
