Need for Speed Most Wanted (PS3)

Just wanted to mention quickly about wheel support. Obviously this game is much more arcade driving than sim, but DFGT wheel support is included. At first I was a little disappointed, but after playing for a few hours I can say it's a thoroughly enjoyable racer with the DFGT. Force feedback isn't adjustable, and at first the steering feels very lose. After a while I noticed that the FF is dependant on speed and is mostly given over to impacts and crashes, meaning you feel every sideswipe and shunt very nicely. After you get used to the lose steering the rest of the time, it drives very nicely. Especially since this is twitch racing, and lose steering means you can make those quick adjustments without fighting the wheel. I can say categorically that this game plays better with a wheel than a controller. No contest and, perhaps more importantly, no compromises either. There's nothing you can't do with the wheel, yet there is certainly more enjoyment to be had with one. I held off buying this for a very long time, now I wish I'd put my foot down. See what I did there? :)

Great fun. I'm still shockingly bad at video games, but it's great fun anyway. Unadulterated speed-camera-trippin, billboard-smashin, slam-takedownin, corner-driftin, city-racin, cop-outrunnin, accelerator-holdin-down joy. I could go on about the inability to adjust the steering sensitivity and upgrade this or that or the other but, seriously, what's the point? The game is quite old now and Criterion aren't going to put any time or effort into development, so I'm enjoying it as it is :-) Quick delivery and the disc was in good condition, as described.

First of all , from the moment EA had started to create Need For Speed , I used to buy every single game of N.F.S. and N.F.S. Most Wanted is one of the best games I have ever played. When N.F.S. Hot Pursuit was announced, I was almost the first to buy it. This game was more entertaining than the previous one ( N.F.S. Shift ). The longevity of this product was not so good. The fact that you could drive around the city was interesting. But there weren't some many cars to drive and the races were few. Now, N.F.S. Most Wanted is something more than polices chases and races ( " Hot Pursuit "). In this game you can feel free to do whatever you want such as drive new cars whenever you want , race the Most Wanted cars or enjoy multiplayer experience. Scenario > 10/10 : The scenario of this game couldn't be better. You, a racer , must beat all the Most Wanted racers one by one to become ... the " Most Wanted ".As you reach the 3 most wanted racers the game becomes a litte bit difficult and during the game, you unlock a extensive selection of vehicles. Graphics > 9/10 : The graphics of this game is absolutely awesome.Although some glitches exist in the game such as when the car stucks while doing a jump or when it falls into the rooftop of some buildings, I would say that this is just a detail .The cars are great, the city is amazing. Sound > 9/10 : By having a 5.1 sound, you can experience a different level of gaming . For example, the sound of the car's engine is very cool and you can also play your own music before the game starts as the game supports that .By the way , the police sirens will never stop even if you are miles away from the police. Longevity > 10/10 : You are sertainly going to play this game for a lot of time !! Each of the 55 cars has 5 races where you can play plus the multiplayer experience plus the add-ons that can be downloaded from the Playstation Store .So , you can spend a lot of time having fun with your friends or race . Overall > 9/10 : In conclusion, I believe that this game is spectacular. A great fan of N.F.S. and Burnout would be very happy buying this game!

Works great, very good game

I always enjoyed the Burnout games and the NFS Underground, Underground 2 and the original Most Wanted. This games takes what was working the best in all these games and mixes it in a very good modern version. Customizing the cars has been streamlined in an effort to take as little time and not to take the gamer outside of the racing experience. Some may like this some may not but the pace is always fast and enjoyable.

This is a great game for a great price. It should be noted that (as with Burnout Paradise) there are extras that can only be unlocked by purchasing them through the Playstation (PSN) Store. If you want to drive all the special cars and access the Airport it will cost another £21.99 on the PSN store.

Well, this is my first review of my first ever order, i ordered the most wanted and the shift 2 for ps3 and my opinion is very different about them. Most Wanted is, in almost all aspects, burnout paradise. I played it and it was fun, but not very hard and not very rewarding in my opinion. I like this more, because it has some seriously cool cars and all, but they should have done a most wanted list like the first most wanted, where you had to do some racing and some pursuit to be able to race the most wanted cars. This and the lack of some kind of story and the easy of it are the only bad things i have to say about it. Don't ask me how but in 2 hours i got 40% of the game done, which i think is bad. I like shift 2 more because its more challenging and the autolog made it much cooler, but if you log in and race you easily get to the max level too early. But it's still a blast to drive and is an awesome challenge for those who, like me, are fans of racing games. For me the most fun i remember of having in any nfs i played, and i played basically all since the Porsche unleashed. Need for Speed Most Wanted

I bought this for my son's 12th birthday. In his words: 'It is great, you can roam around free in your car getting involved in exhilarating police chases. When the serious SWAT team come out you need your wits about you to escape. The races are fun, you can unlock new cars and accessories. I would recommend this game.'

The game over all is good. Let me go to pros and cons Pros: 1. The graphics of the game is very good and satisfying to look at 2. There are so many cars to unlock. In this game, you can't buy cars, you need to find them. I like this aspect because instead of buying cars, we can spend time searching cars. 3. The races are challenging Cons: 1. The 10th and 9th most wanted cars are easy to beat. I beated them in a day 2. You need to download an additional pack for multiplayer 3. The crash cam is a little annoying.
