1300W Power Supply, ATX 3.0 & PCIE 5.0 Ready, 80+ Platinum Certified, Addressable RGB with 5V Motherboard Sync, 100% Japanese Capacitors, Fully Modular, RGB-1300

I was having terrible crashes with my RTX 3060 (OC) 12GB video card. The video screen would go blank and the GPU fans would go to full speed. I tried everything I could think of, including updating drivers, reinstalling Windows, and even replacing my video card. But nothing worked. Finally, I decided to replace my power supply. I had an APEVIA 800WATT GOLD 80 PLUS PSU, but I knew it was a little under-powered for my system and not to mention it's a $67 PSU, so you get what you pay for regarding performance... I decided to go with a GAMEMAX 1300W Power Supply, and I'm so glad I did! As soon as I installed the new power supply, my crashes stopped completely. I've been gaming for hours on end without any problems. I'm so happy that I finally found a solution to my issue. If you're having crashes with your RTX 3060, I highly recommend replacing your power supply with a GAMEMAX 1300W. It's a great power supply, and it's "somewhat" affordable, but remember that you generally get what you pay for, on many levels. Error code note: The hardware error code I was getting before the new PSU was LKD_0x141_Tdr:6_IMAGE_nvlddmkm.sys_Ampere, and is a common error code for NVIDIA graphics cards. It usually indicates that the driver has crashed. However, it can also be caused by a hardware problem, such as a faulty power supply as it was in my case.

Had this unit for about 9 months or so and so far it has worked flawlessly. I selected the unit for its gaming features and that 1300W could run my Video card and other power hungry peripherals without issue. I usually went with name brands for the reliability but as any PC builder knows that is never a sure thing. I would recommend this because it worked for me and seems to have done so for the majority of buyers.

Delivered 9/3/2025 failed 11/19/2025 If you purchase this for PSU I wish you the best, with that said while playing a video game which doesn't even use my raid array, poof. I can't depend on this brand especially since I lost additional hardware in the process. The PSU failing is not really that big of a deal but it taking other hardware with it is where I have to draw the line. I replaced my old working OCZ 700w PSU purchased in 2010 to give my system more available watts, since I've upgraded to more powerful hardware over the years it was at the top end of power output (which can cause PSU failure). The system worked flawlessly with OCZ 700w. I have a device that not only surge protects but also cleans the power before sending it out to the various devices plugged in, with that said I've only had one other psu failure in decades which luckily only affected the psu, I was not as lucky with this failure. I made the grave mistake of choosing this PSU because of its advertised Watts. Unfortunately I lost both disks in my raid 1 array which has never happened to me over multiple decades of building pcs and servers for personal and professional use. I know to backup so that's not the issue but replacement cost for each drive is $300+. Hdd drives are more sensitive to power now so if the psu causes the surge they are cooked. Just like other purchasers that had this issue once I replaced this 'new' PSU and its wires with my faithful old 700w OCZ the system fired right up. Waiting for RMA which I will test then label 'for very short term use only' and the store 'in case of emergency'. I'll purchase another OCZ and keep my fingers crossed. My pc is almost always running, a couple hours downtime to install of this PSU because I was in no rush then another 14 hours because it failed at night while playjng a video game and I was again in no rush. My yearly down-time is less that 5%, usually for hardware upgrades, cleaning or the very seldom power outage.

Bought this a month ago. Installed this weekend. Comes with a dedicated 12vpwr cable and all of the other pcie and pcie hard drive power cables you’ll need. It’s powering my build just fine and is a bit future proof given it’s 1300 watt rating. It would be great if the included cables had better insulation shielding on them but I don’t believe it’ll be an issue. I bought a pack of hide a wire sleeves and ran my gpu power through it. You can also get a shrink tube sleeve and secure it in places a dedicated wire and a 12vhpwr cable is a much better solution then the included nvidia pcie splitter cables that go to 2 pcie slots. All in all it’s a great price for what you get. You could always choose to independently buy a different wire bundle as well. I don’t even hear the fan running when it’s on. It’d be a 5 star rating if the cables were a bit better. My 12vhpwr cable was slightly scuffed up out of the package which is another reason I put it in a mesh cable sleeve. I do like that it’s a 80 plus platinum power supply though. That means it’s 89% efficient at 100% max load due to factors like thermal build ups which I haven’t experienced. I don’t even hear the fans. I did purchase this product but the seller has any other products that you would like to send me and I could review and a video on I’d love to! Thanks

So, my EVGA 1000W powersupply went on vacation. I bought this 1300w as a replacement. Quality made. Looks good. However, the cables aren't sleeved like most are. So I decided to use my EVGA cables instead. Don't do this. There are wires crossed in the supplied wires. As a result, other cables will not work. Plus, their CPU cables aren't really long enough to go outside the MOBO bay and back in. So it's a little messy. But it is a rock solid power supply that runs very quietly. I'm happy.

Update on Feb 10, The seller finally got back to me ,and refunded me the money. It is hard to run a business, especially in these years so I changed my review to 4/5. Please be customer oriented and be more responsive to your customers. ________ I purchased a GAMEMAX 1300W Power Supply in August 2024, and by December, it completely stopped working—won't power on at all. I even performed the paperclip test, and it failed. I contacted the seller immediately, but their response has been extremely slow and unhelpful. After some initial casual responses, they completely stopped replying—it’s been over two weeks, and still no resolution despite me providing detailed images and videos through their website. A power supply is supposed to last years, yet this one failed within six months. I understand that defects can happen, but what’s unacceptable is the complete lack of customer service. No response, no accountability—just a terrible experience. 🚨 Avoid this seller at all costs. Terrible product, even worse support. 🚨

Item works like a charm. Purchased a separate tester prior to replacing my old PSU and it held steady for 48hours straight. Time will tell how durable it will be and will change my review then. Came in with all the cables you will ever need. NVidia 40 series + ready as well.

Purchased back in July of 2023 for a 13900 + 4090 build which is... thirsty for power This thing is a tank, no issues whatsoever - notably and especially nothing to report during the whole 13th gen power draw debacle. I was hesitant to grab a PSU for such a premium build from a company that doesn't rhyme with Smorsair or Smeasonic but I'm pleased that I did! The literature and online information is adequate to get set up and the modularity is decent. The cables aren't quite what I'd call "premo", however one can find a myriad of solutions here on Amazon or elsewhere for sprucing up their aesthetic. At the end of the day you need clean, consistent power provided to your components and this PSU does the job! Highly Recommend
