Bit of a delay in delivery otherwise fine. Fitted to bike with little trouble. Well happy.

small design fault
the product feels solid, however trying to fasten the engine bolts through the guard tube proved impossible and had to get alternative bolts to insert. Apart from the unfortunate tube size and engine bolts provided, the product feels good and looks like it will take a fall well.

Pas adapté au modèle à partir de 2019
Placé sur une cb500x de 2019, je n'avais pas vu que la structure n'était pas adaptée à mon modèle, j'ai du changer des boulons car ceux-ci étaient trop court et la structure allait forcer sur le carénage, je vais devoir Placer des entretoises ou boulons en intermédiaires pour stabiliser la tête de fourche le mieux possible pour palier à l'écart que j'ai dû laisser.J'ai placé la structure et vissé au fur et à mesure, au final ça fera le job, j'espère.Acheter l'autre modèle pour les cb500x à partir de 2019, certe il est un peu plus chère, mais ça évitera les chipoteries.La fourche touche la structure en tournant à fond, tant à droite qu'à gauche, je pense perdre 1cm de course.Du coup je vais voir si je le garde.

Good protection and great looks. Crash tested, d’oh!
I get lots of comments on how these look. They really add to the appearance of the bike. And, after finding the icy patch on a ride a couple weekends ago, I can verify they’ll protect the bike from most damage at least in a low speed crash (I’m fine).Crashing ground a bit of metal off the guards on one side, but otherwise are undamaged. They probably paid for themselves already!Installation was a little tricky, but that’s par for the course. DON’T undo all the engine bolts at once. I have read that if the engine shifts with all the bolts out, it can be a real PIA for multiple people to get everything back in place. I fortunately had the intuition to do one side at a time, loose fitting things, which probably saved me some swearing.All told, these are a great addition to the bike and held up admirably in a low speed crash. I hope I will not get to update this review with a high-speed crash review!
