I tried to dye poly-cotton mix and had no success. Should think nylon even worse.

If I mixed the flamingo pink with a black item of clothing would it stay black or would it gain a pink tinge of colour?

I think if you are dying a darker to a lighter colour they recommend you use a colour stripper first on fabric to be dyed.

Would this dye work on chrochet doiles?

Yes probably work very well if its cotton
