LANDOT 2 in 1 Hair Straightener and Curler, 1" Twist Flat Iron Dual Voltage

Have used this 3 times now since receiving a few days ago. I really like the plastic-type coating on the plates which really helps to smoothly pull straightener down a length of hair. I also like the recessed, textured ends that makes it easier to hold the flat iron plates together on your hair and helps cut back on any heat issues to your fingers. I'm not totally sure the ionic generator feature is making a difference to my hair vs my previous flat iron that didn't have that, but it does seem there is a different sort of silkiness to my hair after straigtening. So I will assume the ionic generator is not hype, but an added benefit. I haven't tried giving a soft wave to my somewhat short hair yet, which as others have posted will likely take a little practice, but am very pleased to find that staightening my hair is no issue and very easy with these twisted plates. **POWER LOCK Temperature Feature: Be aware that the instruction pamphlet is missing a VERY important piece of advice - that being the power lock temperature feature and how it gets automatically locked to the temp you've set after a few seconds and how to unlock it to change the temp. Fortunately there is an answer to this issue in the "ask a question" section on the product page which helped me figure out why the temp wouldn't change after having turned it on to heat up.

I already have a flat iron, but this awesome flat ironer, with it's curvy iron plates, does the best beach waves! EXACTLY what I was going for and I'm SOOOO glad I made this purchase. It comes with a couple of clips (they don't really work with my hair since I've got long, thick hair, but they're pretty sturdy regardless) a glove, (which I didn't find that I needed to use it, but it's there if you need it), a velvety case to take it on the go and last, but not least, it comes with, my favorite (besides the iron itself) is a silicon mat that you can wrap around the iron, when it cools. This mat wraps around and even fastens to the iron so it won't come off. (I think there's some videos showing this awesome feature.) Overall, it's an amazing tool and you won't regret your purchase. And the price was really good too, which was an added bonus!

I do love the results of the curls. It heats up nice, I like that there's a lock button so you can't accidentally turn it off or change the temperature, and the plates are nice and smooth. However, the design has a couple of flaws. As mentioned in other reviews, in order to hold it tight you have to push on the buttons. If you hold it lower to avoid the buttons, it doesn't tighten very well so you're hair falls out and you can pinch your finger in the hinge. If you're holding it with both hands, one on the base and the other at the tip, if you let go of the base the tip only holds the tip closed so your hair will fall out if you let go of the base. Why not just use a barrel you ask? Because there are days that I like to straighten my hair and I don't have a lot of space for a bunch of different tools. That's what I really loved about this, two in one, perfect! I gave this one a lot of time before I made my decision to return it because I really do love it but if I'm in a hurry I don't have time to worry about if I'm holding it tight enough, dropping it, repeating curls because my hair fell out or if I'm going to get pinched. This was just a frustration thing for me. I'm not discouraging anybody to give it a try because it really is an amazing tool and it works perfectly to straighten but if you want curls, it's a little bit more of a struggle.

Can not figure out how to get it to curl; but not straightening tool.

I've always had hard to curl hair. This does the job in one single twist AND it holds! As I've gotten older, my hair has gotten some curl and frizziness to it. Now with one time through, it's straight and sleek! I've owned many a curling iron and previously one flat iron. I almost spent over $100 at the mall on a similar product and so glad I didn't! I have shoulder length hair and between heating the iron and the actual straightening, it took me less than 5 minutes! My husband timed me and said it was about 3 minutes and 45 seconds. The previous flat iron I owned would always get switched off while trying to use it. The Landot has push buttons for on/off and setting the heat. I especially like the heat setting, as a higher setting is required for my hair texture. It has a swivel cord that doesn't get twisted and tangled while using like other products. The product was well packaged. It came with a mat to lay the iron on as to not burn your countertop, 2 clips, a glove so you don't burn your hand or fingers, and a velvet-like bag to keep the iron in. It arrived in 2 days from the time I ordered. I am amazed and very pleased with this purchase.

Dont buy. It rips your hair out of your head. I would have returned it but i had missed the window. I blew that money. Worthless appliance, i dont even feel right donating so throwjng it away.

Excellent straightener, it leaves hair smooth and shiny in just a few passes. It heats up quickly, doesn't damage the hair, and is very easy to use. Its design is comfortable, and it delivers professional results at home.

I use this hair Landot straightener/curler on my medium-length bob. My hair is fine but not thin, so it works like a dream, adding soft curl, volume and smoothness all-in-one! I really like the design because the controls are on the inner side of the handle so my fingers don’t accidentally change the heat setting or turn it off while using it on my hair. This set came with instructions which recommended various heat settings depending on the texture of your hair. I like the useful accessories this straightener/curler came with, which add to the quality of the product. I would highly recommend this Landot straightener/curler!

Bonita y eficaz

Me encanto!! Su presentación es bonita y elegante, trae su funda para guardar, un guante para proteger tu mano del calor y unas pinzas para organizar el cabello por mechones, a diferencia de otras planchas curvas para definir ondas esta no trae los dientes de los laterales de las placas lo cual evita jalones o q se troce el cabello, define ondas de una manera fácil y duradera ya q duran todo el día!!! peeeero aquí no la recomiendo para uso diario ya q maltrata tu cabello aún usando protector para calor sin embargo para usar una vez por semana para esas ocasiones especiales q quieres lucir unas ondas perfectas es ideal.

Exclente producto para realizar peinados, de facil aplicación para el cabello
