The TransporterBuckle up for “a slick enjoyable ride” (The Sun) that delivers “a medley of stunning fight sequences” (The Times). Frank Martin (Jason Statham, Snatch) is the best at what he does: transporting dangerous or illegal goods with no questions asked. But his latest shipment, a beautiful young woman kidnapped by international slave traders, brings deadly complications to his delivery plans. Now Frank must kick into overdrive in a nonstop, action-packed fight to save his precious cargo--and his life. The Transporter 2Jason Statham returns in his signature role as fearless ex-mercenary Frank Martin (aka The Transporter), a specialist in moving precious cargo of all kinds with a cool style and attitude. Now transplanted to Miami, Frank faces even greater tests of his skills while trying to fulfil a promise and simultaneously crush the master plan of a gang of ruthless villains, including one especially deadly and striking blonde. Extreme car and jet ski chases, thrilling fights and electrifying action sequences prove that The Transporter is more than just the car he drives. The Transporter 3Jason Statham returns as former Special Forces mercenary Frank Martin who has relocated to Paris to continue his business of delivering packages without questions. Only this time someone else is making up the rules as Frank faces a race against time to safely deliver his latest consignment. From the Riviera to the Baltic Sea, via Stuttgart and Budapest, the explosions are bigger, the stunts are better and the cars are faster than ever before.

The Transporter Trilogy
**THIS MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS**In the first movie, Frank is hired to deliver a package to an American gangster known only as "Wall Street". Breaking one of his rules, Frank opens the package: it reveals a tied-up and gagged woman by the name of Lai. Initially, Frank simply delivers the package, however when Wall Street attempts to kill Frank, Frank returns to the delivery site. Frank injures many of Wall Street's henchmen and steals a car containing Lai. The next morning at Frank's house, an inspector turns up and questions their story. However, this works to their advantage, as they manage to discover the whereabouts of Wall Street while at the police station. Lai then explains that there is a shipping container full of people. After lots of action, and with the inspector's help, Frank succeeds in an attempt to retrieve a truck full of immigrants.Martin is aided by a French Police inspector named Tarconi. Initially, Tarconi is assigned to investigate the path of destruction that Martin is leaving but ends up aiding in the recovery of the containers full of human slaves. Incidentally, although two slave containers are identified, Martin only recovers one at the end of the film.In the second film, Frank is working as the driver/chauffeur for a wealthy family, in the United States. Martin bonds with their young son, whom he drives to school every day. When the boy is kidnapped, Frank must again take action in order to protect his young "package" and his family. Eventually, Martin unravels a scheme involving biological weapons and the nefarious Gianni Chellini. Martin is forced to remove a bomb from the bottom of his car by executing an aerial corkscrew maneuver underneath a crane. The crane catches the bomb and Martin escapes unharmed. Frank debuts the Audi A8 W12 in this film.Inspector Tarconi plays an even more prominent role in this film. It is established that he and Frank are now friends, and Tarconi goes as far as to lie to the police to cover for Frank. His cooking prowess is established as well.In the third film (the final one with Jason Statham), Frank has been pressured into transporting Valentina (Natalya Rudakova) (by using a device which prevents him from moving 75 feet from his car or a bomb attached to him explodes which was unknowingly attached to him after a car crash) the kidnapped daughter of Leonid Vasilev (Jeroen Krabbé), the head of the Environmental Protection Agency for Ukraine, from Marseilles through Stuttgart and Budapest until he ends up in Odessa on the Black Sea. Along the way, with the help of Inspector Tarconi (François Berléand), Frank has to contend with the people who strong armed him to take the job, agents sent by Vasilev to intercept him, and the general non-cooperation of his passenger, whom he realizes is the package mid-way through the film. Despite Valentina's cynical disposition and Frank's resistance to get involved, Frank and Valentina fall for each other, while escaping from one life-threatening situation after another. Martin again drives an armored Audi A8 W12 in the film, as well as a BMX bicycle. This trilogy of films is just brilliant. Jason Statham is excellent as Frank Martin, A.K.A. "The Transporter", and he is ably supported by all the other actors who appeared in the film franchise. In May 2013 at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival a new trilogy was announced with EuropaCorp and China's Fundamental Films co-producing and distributing the titles. The films will likely be budgeted between $30 million to $40 million each and at least one will be shot in China. Luc Besson will co-finance, distribute, produce and write all the films. English actor Ed Skrein will replace Jason Statham as Frank Martin on the fourth installment of the series. The title of the fourth film, The Transporter Legacy which is set to release on March 6, 2015 and will be directed by Camille Delamarre.Going back to this trilogy, they are absolutely entertaining to watch and are very highly recommended to any film fan.

GREAT
I love this character that Luc Besson and Jason Statham have created. Classic.Favourite saying "Respect a man's car" (and a man will respect you)It's so classic the catch phrases crop up in other Statham films along the: 'stick to the plan' lines. But Luc Besson has a weird obsession with aggressive women. Just about every film he makes has a bossy domineering woman as a central character. But it's the small french touches that give it that special feel. The wonderful laid back french chief of police, and that wonderful house by the sea, but just . . not being set in USA would add profit to a film I would think. Nothing against USA, but I've been looking at America not to mention the badly disguised insides of American studios with lousy scripts, my whole life, and I'm sick of it. The Arctic . . anywhere is preferable. There's a whole world out there. Spend a bit of money . . you studios are not exactly teetering on the brink of penury.[ranting man disappears into the distance]

super series!
The Transporter - absolutely loved this film! the fight scenes are top-notch with fluid movement and no lack of action! the driving skills from Statham is exceptional and very nerve-racking!The Transporter 2 - this builds up from the first and delivers the same if not more punch! the bond that Frank has with Jack shows as he tries to rescue him and get the antidote in the process! The Transporter 3 - practically the same as the second but with different characters! the arm-band thing is brilliant but not new! the fight scene in garage just shows how good Jason is at martial arts!all in all, a brilliant series! hopefully a fourth will be made!

The Transporter Trilogy
Wow!! I saw Transporter 3 a couple of weeks ago on DVD and really enjoyed it but yesterday we watched The Transporter which is the first film of the trilogy and it was amazing so exciting he flings himself about like a doll Jason is terrific. If you like action films you will love this one he should be the next James Bond I have heard he has been nomited for the part. Not that I dont like Daniel Craig because I do but I think Jason is fitter and I like him better. I thoroughly recommend these films.

Armchair enjoyment.
Total escapism and a nice way to spend an hour or so late at night. I had previously watched Transporter 3 on the TV and enjoyed it so much that I decided to buy the complete Transporter Trilogy. Jason Statham plays the amazing lead role (Frank Martin) straight faced and grim but he now has a new fan.
