It really is worth spending the extra. The quality is far better and you can taste lemon and ginger. Its not a synthetic taste. The bigger boxes are great value. Definitely a repurchase

I love the lemon ginger combo for tea and I love Teapigs' quality, so this was bound to be good. The taste is authentic and it has a soft calming effect, perfect when you need to warm yourself up. I drink this tea at any time as it's an infusion and it's caffeine-free.

So I did a proper brew, in a stainless teapot. Warmed the pot, dropped in 3 tea pyramids and filled with water. Stirred once in both directions. Covered with a tea cosy. Left it for 5 minutes. Poured into a PINT mug (half full). Virtually no smell, couldn't smell the lemon. Anyhoo, sipped but felt no flavour, I did feel the ginger on my sore throat. Despite everything it is a very refreshing tea just a bit lacking in flavour

I usually enjoy the Sweet Ginger version, but those don't seem to be available at the moment. So I gave this lemon and ginger version a try. First impressions... WOW! A very obvious lemon theme, but with that slight ginger heat that lingers in your throat. Very enjoyable. The contents are lovely and chunky with very visible lemongrass and ginger pieces and no dust. Actually one of the chunkiest tea temple contents that I've seen. As with most other Teapigs versions, I've been leaving the bag in the cup for more flavour (recommended brewing time is 3-5 minutes, but I like it that way). And finally, a tiny point, I really like the cyan colour theme on the string label. An unusual finishing touch. 5 stars from me.

Lovely refreshing drink, caffeine free, great as a bedtime drink

I love this tea. Previously tried an organic ginger only tea, but found it to have too much ginger burn and make my throat feel a little sore during drinking. This one’s main ingredient is still ginger, but with a little lemon, and taste great. Plenty of ginger taste and fragrance for me, but without the burn. Really enjoyable. This one I will definitely continue to purchase.
