Sound Bar with Subwoofer, Home Theater Surround System for TV PC

Works great for a simple make shift home theater. I have connected this to my projector to have a little movie theater at home. It connects quickly with bluetooth which is very helpful when dealing with a projector. Fewer wires are always a plus. It can get very loud if you want it to be, and the bass does add a bit more to the quality of it too. It has a small light bar on the front of it to indicate if it is connected or not, but it is not enough to be distracting when the room is darkened for the screen. Don't expect super digital 3d surround sound from this. It's a good price for something to turn up the sound for a movie or music. Great for a bedroom, garage, man-cave, camper.

Honestly, I've now had this soundbar for three years. It's gone through a lot during that time with me always moving stuff around. Well, now after three years I am fortunately having to buy a new one since mine is finally starting to go out due to a few drops and a bunch of rearrangements. I am actually happy to repurchase since it has served me so well and makes my music, movies and games sound so good, even without the sub (I disconnected it a while ago). It connects quickly and easily to everything I use it for and is well worth the money due to all of the sound settings I can use to manipulate the speaker by using my phone, tablet, tv, etc.

This thing has some static at low volumes, but apart from that it's amazing. I would prefer this setup over a $200 Bose soundbar I bought and immediately returned. For the price, it can't be beat.

I purchased this soundbar and subwoofer for my garage, where I mainly watch YouTube and occasionally movies using a projector. For around $50, I have been very pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. I have the soundbar connected to my Apple TV via Bluetooth. Connection was easy and stable, and I haven’t noticed any lip-sync delay while watching videos or full-length movies. Dialogue is clear, and the separate subwoofer adds much more bass and fullness than the Bluetooth speaker I was previously using. I tested it with an action movie and actually had to turn the volume/bass down because it was resonating into the house! One thing buyers should know is that the subwoofer is wired to the soundbar, not wireless. I initially thought it was wireless. In my setup, I keep the soundbar and subwoofer near each other, so the wire hasn’t been a problem. For the price, I’m very satisfied with the performance and am keeping it. I can’t speak to longevity or long-term reliability yet since I’ve only recently purchased it. If it continues to perform this well over time, I would happily recommend it and would consider purchasing another. So far: excellent value for the money.

Hands down the best surround sound system for this price. Crystal clear highs, deep reverbing bass, and I still haven't turned it all the way up for fear of neighbor complaints. Easy setup too. Only problem I've found is the sub walks on hardwood, so I had to put down something to keep it in place. Shouldn't have any issues with that on carpet or rugs. I love this sound system.

I purchased this 3.5 years ago to drown out the "noises" made by my roommate and her boyfriend back then. After she left, the soundbar has been connected to my media pc in my living room. It has basically never glitched or given me any trouble. I cannot attest to the Bluetooth capabilities as I have mostly connected it through aux. It is pretty loud and great for drowning out bedroom noises if you need (:P), and good for gaming. Watching movies is not that great but that is a physical limitation of a 2.1 channel system, not a fault of this sound bar. The subwoofer packs a lot of bass (i have to keep it at 50% to keep my neighbors happy), and the remote means I don't need to get off my couch.

I bought this item based on the glowing reviews versus low price, some people saying you'd have to spend 5 times as much to get better sound quality. Just so you know, I already own the 24" SaiYin soundbar w/o sub that I use as my computer speaker, so I know what to expect in terms of tonality. I will say that they seem to bias their sound towards speech, so if you only listen to tv news or podcasts or audiobooks, this brand is IDEAL, voices sound PERFECT, sharp and crystal clear. But that's NOT what you want for music. You want the opposite, enhanced bass and treble, with reduced 1kHz midrange. I plugged everything in and waited for the BlueTooth to connect, and when the music started playing I was immediately disappointed. Boxy harsh sound with no highs, actually inferior to a cheap portable boombox from the 80s. The "sub" sounded terrible at EVERY setting, boxy sounding mid-bass. I turned it all the way down to try to get proper sound balance, so why even have a sub. The longer I listened the more I hated it, even with different music sources. Lack of highs, lack of lows. Even the 3 eq buttons on the remote couldn't save it, they barely made any difference. It took me less than 10 minutes to decide to box it back up. For people who say that this sounds good, you must never have heard any audio system made of separate components and separate speakers. Maybe they're confusing loud with good, it does get extremely loud. But here's the kicker: not long ago I bought the $20 BolaButty 8" portable BT speaker from Amazon, so I did a direct comparison and it kicked the SaiYin's ass! Better highs, better overall sound balance, enjoyable, obviously not much deep bass but the Saiyin's bass was intolerable. The other sound bar I own from Amazon I bought a 3 years ago, a 26" bar and large sub that has good sound balance for music, is BESTISAN. Amazon still sells that brand, although the particular model I bought is discontinued. Like I said, all speakers within a brand are going to have the same tonality, the only difference being whether it has a sub or not. (Never buy a soundbar with a tiny sub; you'll run into the midbass problem I did. Small drivers just can't produce low bass). So, I would trust a BESTISAN bar + big sub if I wanted to replace the SaiYin bar + small sub in order to get that deeper subwoofer bass, but I may just stick with my BolaButty. I'm very very surprised at that outcome.

Quick and efficient solution, but sound quality will leave you wanting. Bass and mid range over power high range and leaves a less than crisp sound. For what I paid, absolutely great deal. But if you're looking for Bose or HK or anything with a more sophisticated sound, you'll want to go into a higher price bracket.
