This is great for short hair with it being nice and slender . Heats up quickly and gives nice gentle curl/wave.

I’ve got 1a texture hair cut into a layered bob. This gives me the results I wish the air wrap did. I struggle to build volume and get a good bouncy blow dry style on my hair. I find with this brush, if I put a good styling cream in my hair while damp then dry as usual, this gives me a great bounce and lasts longer than air wrap. I love the simplicity of the design as well. One setting. One button. Not too many bells and whistles. Lightweight and super portable. Only downside is it gets very hot and I worry it might dry out my hair. Maybe it should have a temp control. Also not sure how easy this will be to clean in future due to the texture. Amazing performance though! And 20 times cheaper than an air wrap.

I bought this Hot Brush as I’m in the transition between relaxed (chemically straightened) and growing that out and returning to my natural Afro hair. I’m quite excited about it as I’ve had relaxed hair since the age of 6, so barely remember what my natural hair was even like. The transition isn’t easy as there are two different textures to contend with. I used to use the old Braun gas tongs which had a brush attachment to straighten my roots when needed and that always delivered good results so I was hoping that this TRESemme Ceramic Hot Brush would do the same, and I can honestly say I am not disappointed. I opened it and tried it out straight away. It’s really simple to use, no set-up required, just take it out of the box and plug it into the mains socket. It took about a minute to heat up - it gets very hot so be careful (I learnt this the hard way burning my palm slightly when testing it!). When ready I started at the root and glided the brush through my hair. Be careful to keep the brush straight and don’t be tempted to try to wrap your hair around it, as it may tangle. After a couple of minutes my roots at the nape of my neck was bone straight. I did one side of the front and it also looked great. I’m happy that this will help to make my hair more manageable through the transition period. I would recommend to anyone else going through the same. You won’t regret it, and it’s barely a risk at such a great price. What are you waiting for?

Brilliant product for my fine, but thick, short hair. Heats up to 180 degrees within a minute and doesn't dry my hair out. I only leave the brush in each curl for 6 or 7 seconds. Absolutely delighted with this product for the price. Perhaps the slim barrel could be a little wider, but this is great for people with shorter hair. I finish off by using a wide tooth comb and some curl defining product. The curls last all day.

Perfect, replaced as last one was 20 years old and looking a bit grubby. Quick and easy curling for short hair and quick warm up time. My go to hairstyling tool.

These tongs are probably the best I've ever bought, and I've bought quite a few over the years. They don't damage my hair like previous ones did and they stay cleaner longer. This is good, because I tongmy hair every day. Highly recommend these.

Was a little concerned after reading a few of the negative reviews - but love love this curling brush - it’s barrel is longer than my old one and is definitely hotter - but great results - very easy to use especially on the sides of my hair. I do agree that it would not be good for long hair - much better for short hair - and with the extra heat it was quicker and left my old grey hair smooth and shiny.

Ware kam zeitnah an. Diese Keramikbürste ist meine Zweitbestellung und ich bin sehr zufrieden damit! Trotzdem kleines Manko: die erste Bürste war bereits "mit einem Stecker für Deutschland umgebaut" diese habe ich jetzt mit einem Reisestecker versehen [ siehe Fotos ] ! Ich empfehle die Keramikbürste !

I bought this product from the UK. I didn't realize I was on the amazon.com site. My son is an electrician so was able to change the plug for me. This is an excellent hot curling brush. It is very sturdy and does a great job curling my hair. I love it and highly recommend it. It is not a hot air brush, which I didn't want.
