Wish I would’ve bought 3 years ago!! I was so intimidated by the thought of using a sprayer but this was So easy! Easy to use and to clean! As long as you clean it really well each time, it sprays perfectly! I highly recommend using a scotch bright stainless steel scrubber on the sprayer pin after use and anywhere else paint gets dried onto your sprayer! & REALLY SCRAPE the inside of the tips with the pin they give you - up down/back & forth - not just thru 1 time. Paint can get stuck in the tiny barrel area of the end of the tip and can effect spraying performance. Also, use the viscosity cup anytime you mix new paint- it really matters. I tried to use it without and I got a lot of texture in my paint. Use the stopwatch on your phone to time.. typically any paint I have used needs to be between 40 and about 48 seconds to be able to run through the sprayer and have a good finish. Highly recommend having a wet paper towel handy to wipe the tip of the sprayer while you’re spraying to keep paint from drying out on the tip and messing up your finish too!! I typically wipe the tip off after about 2 or 3 rows sprayed otherwise it will start spitting unevenly bcuz paint starts to dry on the tip!! Also, after I spray I shove a waded up paper towel on the tip and then wrap that with aluminum foil if I’m going to be spraying again in a couple of hours or even the next day - saves me from cleaning it as often! Test spray a piece of cardboard before you start to spray your piece every time just make it a habit because if that sprayer has sat at all, it will change how much paint is coming through that nozzle! I bought a 2nd one of these bcuz I loved it so much & wanted to have a backup so I don’t have to switch back and forth so much between top coats and color! Just buy it, use it, you won’t regret it! :) oh and lastly… buy the cheap bags to put paint in & the paint strainer cones - makes life easier and ALWAYS strain your paint… super easy, takes a few extra seconds.

I bought this VONFORN paint sprayer to apply wood stain to the base frame of a storage shed I recently built. Setup was straightforward, and after a quick adjustment, it sprayed the stain evenly across the wood. Compared to using a brush, the sprayer covered large areas much faster and made it easy to reach corners and joints. The finish came out consistent with no noticeable streaks, and the included cleaning tools helped make cleanup easier. Overall, I'm very happy with the results. It saved time, reduced effort, and produced a professional-looking finish on my outdoor wood project. I would recommend it for staining sheds, fences, outdoor furniture, and other woodworking projects.

I was one of those Graco drill buyers that stopped spraying after one coat. I do have some skills so tried cleaning it and going again to no success. Overnighted this and just sprayed the last coat on my new vent hood cover that I didn't trust the contractor to do proper match to my professionally sprayed cabinets. So easy, looks great. I read many helpful reviews and watched youtube videos. I did a Dexter like masking off and there was minimal overspray. Graco is going back to Lowes - no wonder it was $40 off and still $150!

I bought this because I had a painting project I really didn’t want to tackle with a brush and roller, and I’m so glad I gave it a try. I had never used this type of paint sprayer before, but it was surprisingly easy to figure out. Once I got the paint consistency and flow adjusted, it sprayed evenly and gave me a much smoother finish than I expected. I really like having the different nozzle sizes and spray patterns because I can adjust it depending on what I’m painting. It comes with four nozzles and horizontal, vertical, and circular spray options. Cleanup wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be either, especially with the included cleaning attachments. My only complaint is that there is a little bit of a learning curve getting the paint thickness and spray adjustment just right. I definitely recommend practicing on a piece of cardboard first. Once I got the hang of it, though, it saved me a ton of time. I’m already thinking of other things around the house I can paint with it!

Loving it so far. Painted my kitchen cabinet doors with it. Super smooth finish. Easy to clean. Seems durable. It’s easy to change the angle of spray. Easy set up. Power seems good. This is my first sprayer and I’m pretty happy with it! The overspray is crazy. Make sure you cover everything you don’t want paint on!

Purchased this for applying a top coat to furniture I was refinishing, after I realized the bargain high priced paint sprayer I got from an online auction wasted a toooon of paint. This worked really nicely. Not difficult at all to figure out how to use and really simple to clean. It comes with several nozzle sizes so it can be used for multiple types of paint. Worked perfectly for our project with no issues. Would recommend this. Just make sure you read the directions, thin your product if necessary and try it out on a cardboard box before you set it free on the real job at hand.

Weeeeeeell, Having used a Wagner (which is not top of the line mind you) this falls short in the fact that there is a huge learning curve. The thing is powerful. Nothing subtle about the force it blows out the material. Therefore, tread lightly while using it and still until you get used to it. The differing gauge nozzles should be helpful but for sure start with the tiniest one and back way off when making adjustments on the amount that comes out. In fact, I recommend trying it on an old piece of furniture with some junk paint you're ready to toss. You could even use varying viscosities as you experiment. I used it when putting a final protective sealant on a desk I was trying to get out the door and it was like a wrecking ball. It was a polyurethane. Thin to be sure. Glad I started on the back. Next I tried it on a thing I wasn't trying to impress anyone with but trashed the whole of it. If stuff is going wrong, don't keep applying even more thinking you will fix the mess you are currently making. It won't. I had to sand it all over again and it was a bear. It was a round, layered plywood thing with 4 sections on each layer. It also turns on ball bearings. Think shoe storage or short bookcase for your kids books. Anyway, what a PITA. The good news is I am getting used to the sprayer even though it's a no name generic made in China. As you might guess, it didn't cost much. The nozzles are brass which should last a lot longer than the plastic ones on a better brand. I'll keep it but will probably have to replace it eventually with something more subtle. Good luck if you buy this one.

I'll speak for most of us when I saw you're buying this because you think a sprayer will make your life easier and maybe even give you better results to boot. You're not a pro looking for top quality and scrounging Amazon for a cheap sprayer, let's be honest. That said, that was the boat I was in. Having a couple bad shoulders and needing to refinish rooms, I thought a sprayer would make my life easier. To be specific I bought this to paint rooms - ceiling, trim, walls. I did a ton of research on it and had this unit in my cart for a long time before finally pulling the trigger around a Prime day. This was my first foray into spraying - I'd consider myself an advanced DIY-er and always rolled/brushed rooms. After using this on a 17x10' room here are my observations, which are more about spraying in general and not so much this specific unit I guess. The unit comes apart very easily to clean. This seems to be a feature of most spray units which have a "wet end" and a blower. The blower forces air past a venturi tube which sucks up paint, generates a fine mist and blows it onto a substrate. Any part of this that could realistically touch paint comes off as one unit, disassembles easily and cleans in a breeze. The nozzles are removable, which go in rather tight. Wager sprayers seem to unitize the wet end, so rather than have different nozzles, you replace the entire assembly, but you're accomplishing the same thing. I think there are a few key aspects to getting good results: <Viscosity> You'll likely need to thin your paint. USE THE INCLUDED VISCOSITY CUP. Unless you're a pro (and you're not), you'll need to use the viscosity cup to get the viscosity of the paint right. Too thick and it will spray in clumps. Too thin and it will run like mad. As a point of reference, I use Behr paint and the wall paint I was using suggested no more than ~ 6% dilution. I was more like 25% or so. The manual lists some recommended values for viscosity, 20-40 for water based paints, I targeted mid 30's based on some info in a YT video. It seems all these style of paint sprayers use the same DIN spec for viscosity. So you're thinking I'll just make one larger batch (in a bucket) so I dilute only once? That wound up just making a big mess for me, so I mixed in the included container and shook by hand. I also didn't have luck trying to keep track of the dilution to make it more repeatable, that's because the container gets coated with paint making it impossible to see the paint level. <Nozzles> The unit comes with 4 nozzles; the manual mentions a 1.8 but you only get a 1.5 and a 2.0, so I'm not sure what that is referencing. I used the 1.5. <Technique> This is the most difficult part. You can put some paper up on your wall and play with the settings, but for the most part provided your viscosity is right, your volume is set correctly (the knob that controls how far you can depress the trigger), and you don't dwell in one spot too long, the results should be OK. No shock, it's a lot like using a can of spray paint in that regard. <Masking> You have to mask absolutely everything. Even if you take care of overspray, the fine mist this generates will dry as it falls leaving a fine dust EVERYWHERE. <Limitations> I sprayed the ceiling, trim and walls. The Trim paint specifically said "do not thin", which of course I did, and I had to a LOT. I wouldn't recommend that - it was so thin that it ran too much and after one coat I saw I'd need more so I just used a brush. All in all, I would probably use this to paint a ceiling again, since I'm pretty much masking off the entire room anyway (these ceilings currently have popcorn which is being removed and that's a messy process). I'm not sure if I would spray walls again, since even after masking and using a spray shield I'll likely have to cut in the ceiling again, and I don't think I want to mask the entire ceiling to spray the walls. So TLDR, decent unit, absolutely great for the value. No issues at all, but just keep in mind the limitations of spraying.

The rating is not really about the product. It could be great for all I know. It was advertised on Amazon UK but the device is for US users with US voltage and US plug so a non-starter in the UK.
