These blind fittings are of good quality. I bought them to replace the ones supplied in a Dunelm blind which broke in no time. There are plenty of holes in the brackets to be able to choose the best fit. The fittings that slot into the pole are a nice tight fit. One clips into the bracket and the other is spring-loaded for a secure fit. The chain is strong and there is a child safety fitting.

This is the second one I’ve bought. Both are working well. If you are buying to replace a current broken mechanism, be sure to check the seller’s size guide to ensure you don’t need to change the entire fitting.

Fitted nicely in 25mm blind tube. Chain ok but wanted it on right not left. Had a lot of fun getting safety tie off to turn it the other way around. Used pliers and got my Mrs to pull chain through in the end and luckily it didn't break. Went back way easier but if your not worried about safety aspect not sure it's worth bothering with as I'd rather use a weight to tension. However fixtures are all good with lots of holes to fix screws and elongated holes that allow a little adjustment. I forgot to put plastic ends on before screwing into window top surround and then it was too much trouble to put them back on. Probably not notice anyway and behind curtains. Once I made sure blind and fixings fitted window I put one of the brackets up after drilling holes in my chosen position. I then put blind into this chain end and held up blind with other end held in place then marked line od bracket with a pencil to save getting measurements done in an awkward place. Then removed blind and marked other holes with bracket edge next to pencil line. Luckily the plastic double glazing surround had been done well by my installers and the edge of this was the same measurement from the window surround inner edge so I could butt up against it for both brackets. Once second bracket up put chain end in first again into plus shape and this locks into place by pulling down a small amount. The other end is just a spring loaded plastic cylinder shape and slots into the round hole in the other bracket. I did not need to trim the blind or cut the inner blind pole and was relieved as I imagine this is a lot more tricky than it sounds. Think if that had been needed I would have paid to have made to measure blinds even if this is a lot more costly. Overall I'd say this is a good product. Would prefer that safety clip to be a lot more easy to swap around. I did not cut chain and use the little joiner as I thought it would run round easier and not get caught in roller when teeth wear a bit and chain starts slipping a bit through the roller but there is one supplied. I would buy again but I'd look for a different one with a different safety fixing first. Of course you may decide to leave it on the left and make it easy on yourself but we are both right handed and therefore like chain on right. You could do a lot worse than this product.

At first I got this because I stripped the screws on the included brackets that came with 1 of my blinds, however I had 2 blinds for which the 2nd one I successfully had the included plastic ones on so I can effectively compare the quality between these and the included ones. Therefore, I can say without a doubt that these metal ones are sturdier, clearly show more quality, and have a much more smooth not to mention easier satisfying pull to bring them up and down. The screw holes were in the same place as the included plastic ones from my Dunelm blinds, so I didn't need to drill any new ones and was able to easily swap out the cheap plastic fixtures that I initially damaged. Overall, the price far exceeds the value you get for basically an upgrade in every way possible to the operation and sturdiness of your blinds. Extremely pleased with these and would not hesitate to get another set as soon as the other plastic fixtures I have fail, or I ever need to set up new blinds. Really makes you think how even the most seemingly minor everyday things could be upgraded or replaced with something so much better for just the price of 2 pints.

I was looking to replace a roller blind that kept falling down. Plastic bracket had expanded and couldnt take the weight of blind when opening or closing. Instead i thought i would try the cheaper alternative of replacing the plastic brackets with this metal one. So glad i did. It was so easy to replace the bracket. Fitted into roller blind easily and screw holes were same as plastic one so no extra drilling. What a difference it has made. It makes the blind feel and look better quality with the metal chain. The metal pulley string feels so much more sturdier and smooth running! Its only a cheap roller blind but just replacing the bracket has made it a quality one. Cant believe im raving about a bracket fitting but honestly makes such a difference. Will look to replace my other brackets now.

Purchased to replace the original plastic roller blind clutch that stopped working after years of use. Quite frankly this was superior in every way over the original! The brackets are made of heavy duty metal which look much sleeker than the originals. The finish is glossy white and the holes aligned perfectly with the previous fitting. The chain is metal and looks and feels much better too. The blind is a actually much easier and smoother to operate than before and I couldn't be happier with the upgrade. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about this product. I may even replace some other fittings even though they are not broken

This is a great replacement string and roller for cheaper blinds. However, the screws that came with the wall brackets do not fit the bracket holes, they are too big. If you buy these you will require smaller screws, 4 in no, 2 for each bracket. If you are the seller you will need to fix this problem and check your stock.

I'm so glad I found these replacement parts! My roller blind couldn’t be opened or closed due to the cog being worn out, but instead of buying a whole new one, I was able to fix it up with these. They were easy to install and fit perfectly. The quality seems good, and they've been working great so far. If you're looking to save some money and avoid unnecessary waste, I highly recommend these replacement parts!

It's robust but does run particularly smoothly. It also makes a 'squealing' noise when being wound up or down. That said, it did save us having to get a whole new blind. It's ok.

Couldn't finds this locally in South Australia. Arrived in 8 days form UK. Happy a good fit for the existing roller blind. All I had to do was reposition the new brackets
