This was the Holy Grail solution to our above ground bladder pool. The inflatable ring on top of the pool got a couple of small pinprick holes in it and we tried everything else first. EVERYTHING else first, unfortunately. I was determined though, so did my research on repairing this type of surface, what you can use and what you can't. I found & ordered these patches off Amazon, got some 70% isopropyl alcohol wipes (bc they're easier to use) then spent almost an hour and a half with my husband removing all the tacky stuff from our other attempts off the ring. Word to the wise... if you take only one thing away from my review, take this piece of advice. Do not, I repeat do NOT use Flex Seal tape of ANY kind, it does NOT work on this type of surface. We tried, believe me. Multiple times. Moving along, it wasn't until we brought out the Goo Gone and used it sparingly did the rest of the residue finally come off. Yes, you CAN use Goo Gone, you just have to use it in small amounts at a time and once you're done, clean the surface afterwards thoroughly with dish soap and water so that you have a squeaky clean and completely dry surface. I should have mentioned earlier that you have to have the ring, or whatever you're trying to repair, at least inflated enough so you can work with it, just not fully inflated. That being said, we had to put a some air in the ring every now and then as we were working on cleaning it. But once we had our clean dry surface, we put the patches on in an overlapping style, and with each patch, we kept using our fingers to smooth out any tiny air bubbles between the patch and the surface over and over and over again. We wanted to make DAMN sure this thing wasn't going to deflate again, so after applying 10 patches we waited longer than the recommended 24 hours, then fully inflating the ring. Boy did I do the happy dance when that ring stayed inflated, let me tell you! I don't ever want to deal with something like that again without this product. I even went back and purchased the tape roll version of the patches to have on hand for anything else. Highly recommend this product, but you have to prepare your surface first. As with anything else, if you don't properly prepare the surface, nothing is going to work. Don't let the thickness of the patches deceive you. They are thin, very thin but the durability is definitely there. And for the price point? Totally worth it.a

The installation was very easy and I love the tape because it’s water resistance in the pool was still fun and I still had the value for money my Kids love it

Says it’s water proof - it was definitely not water proof . We patched & it was completely falling off with in a hour . I highly recommend gorilla glue tape that works better than this waste of money and time .

Was skeptical but applied to Massive 1ft hole on a blow up water park and it help and worked great. Bought 2 more for backups

these are good for inflatables but not that good for pools but it it up a good 2 weeks of me trying to patch my pool.so there durableand worth the money.

Item arrived on time and was just as advertised

I followed the directions and this patch did not work. To be fair though, the hike was on seam and the patch could not conform to the shape along the seam. That said, I think it might have done better if the hole was in a more flat area. Rated a 3 only because it did not work in my situation and I couldn’t check it otherwise.

Used it for my punctured inflatable mattress and it held up really good
