If you have a dog then you know what I mean. The deep dread of returning home to a scattered bin. The fear that someone may, unthinkingly, put raisins, or corn on the cob, or chicken bones in the bin and the dog will get too it (I don't worry so much about chocolate - no one in our house would put that in the bin). It is not so much the mess, although that ain't pleasant, but the worry about the negative impact on my dogs heath. And dietary indiscretion can lead to a wide range of expensive-to-solve veterinary problems. I work in a veterinary practice and we have one of these bins in the staff room, It was purchased about 10 years ago after recurrent bouts of pancreatitis in one of the staff dogs - it still looks great and works well. I never paid it much attention until I purchased one recently for my own kitchen - and oh it is such a weight of my mind. The click shut soon becomes second nature and it is such a joy not to come home to strewn yogurt pots every day (my real fear was that she would eat a bit of metal or batterie of something). But, on top of that, every thing else about this bin is just right. It is tall and narrow so fits a small space, but it is very stable. it fits the bin bags really well and is super easy to clean. It is robust and just works really well - it is worth every penny - I strongly recommend this to dog lovers.

These bins last years!! I’ve got 2 of these and they just last and last and don’t break! So I ordered another! One for recycling and one for waste. Some of the other bins are way way over priced but I feel this simple human bin is just a great price and looks sleek. Can’t go wrong. They also have child lock on too which is added bonus. Only negative is the silver latch that locks the bin often gets tricky to undo. It’s quite stiff.

5 star. Love my bin. Perfect size. Opens and shuts nicely. The slim build means it fits perfectly in the space I have but allows for a good lot of rubbish for a couple. The bags I bought with it fit perfectly but my son reckons any similar bags would work too. Colour is great too. Love it.

I LOVE this bin - we bought it at the beginning of Feb. 2012 and it is perfect for myself and daughter. As we recycle it takes a while to fill the bin up; we're vegetarian and so no meat goes in the bin and veg refuse goes in compost, so the bin does not start to smell. The plus points for us are: the wheels - I really like being able to move it around the kitchen-diner easily. The lid mechanism - you can fully open the lid when it is next to a table and sweep all bits into bin without any falling on the floor (good if you are creative). You also don't have to touch the lid to open the bin if your hands are covered with flour or earth (foot-pedal) and then the lid closes itself automatically with a very nice action. We just use black bin liners and when it is full we put it in the wheelie-bin - no problems The only negative is: that the bottom of the bin is not flat and so I dread the day when a bin-bag breaks, but because there is very little heavy rubbish put in the bin now (due to recycling) and also there is very little damp rubbish and so if it did explode then it probably wouldn't be a problem at all. Things you should consider, but which don't bother me: the black bin liner hangs over the edge as there is no inner bin. The lid is quite big and so if you want it to go under a counter you need to factor in the dimensions, so that it can open enough to get rubbish into it. I think there was something a bit tricky about putting the lid on when we received the bin, but I recall you just have to get it in position and push/squeeze blinkin' hard - after that bit of exertion it is all plain sailing. We have the back of the bin against the wall and as the lid goes up it rubs against the wall at the back, which has not made a mark on the wall yet, but possibly will in time. It's nothing a touch-up of paint can't fix and so not a big issue for me. I was initially a bit concerned about it's look, but I actually find it unobtrusive and unusual looking. Another positive that I've just realised is that the bin lid never gets dirty - that maybe because it's a pedal, but I think it is also because the bin's opening is soooooo big, which is another reason you should consider whether you put it under the counter or not. I think the bin design could be improved by having some kind of handle on the front to allow one to pull it out in order to empty it and manoeuvre it, but I can live without that. You would have to pull it out by the lock if it was under the counter.

When I received this bin I did think it looked rather small, was a bit fiddly to open as it arrived locked. Once I got it open, it was fine, my black handled bin bags fit just right in the bin plus even though it looks small it does actually hold a lot when you push the rubbish down inside the bin it practically fills the whole bag. Was not actually going to buy it because of the cost as I thought it’s quite expensive for a bin but a friend recommended it to me as they said they have one & have had it for a long time. Now I have it I do think it is worth the money as it’s a lovely bin like the metal peddle on it, the shape of it is just right for the size of my kitchen & plus it’s on wheels, I do find it does tend to move when you have used it depending on which way you place it. Also did find having a lock on it was very unusual plus the shape of it makes it unique, so I’m very pleased with it.

Good quality nice bin and anti dog lock on lid

The item arrived packaged well and on time or early. Assembly was very easy. This is a robust well made bin. No sharp edges or hazards that I can see. The surface texture is nice to the touch and the thickness of the plastic is more than adequate. It has a look and feel of quality. The bin stands very steady even when the edal is activated. I anticipate that it will last for a long time and I would buy it again.

Really amazing build quality and soft lid operation. The size is fairly large so make sure you check the measurements before you order. Check others review on how to easily fit the hinge cover.

分別用に2点購入しました。 大きさや素材感は思っていた通りの品物で満足しています。 難点としては、中にキャスター部分などの凹凸があるので洗いにくそうです。 蓋の取り付けは、かなり固いのですが、思っていたよりも簡単にはまりました。 2点中の1点は、開梱して蓋をビニールから出したところ、蓋の表に縦の線が入っていました。よく見たら裏にも入っていたので、ヒビだと思います。 蓋の入っていたビニール袋もオリジナルのものではなかったのも気になり、1点はそのまま返品し、再度、購入しました。
