Electronic Water Timer Garden Irrigation Controller Digital Intelligence Watering System LCD Waterproof, No Water Pressure Required

No leaks, very easy to set (I mean really easy!), logical, clear display and as many as 8 on/off times which is a lot more than some other more expensive models from other makers.I had this set up in no time, and I love it. Waterproof, with an easy to fit cover that just screws over the top. Batteries easy to change. I decided to route my device into our garage, as you can see from my picture. This is for extra weather proofing, though I still won't be able to use it all year round, as it needs a minimum of 5 degrees C to operate, and our garage can drop below that. I still wanted to afford it full weather proofing, so went the extra mile to install it indoors.I've also attached (see my photo) a water meter, so the Aqualin timer comes on and passes through the meter as well. All in all, a great combo!If I had just one wish, it would be that it would operate lower than 5 degrees. But I can see that it is sensitive to cold, and I'm sure most devices of this type would be similar in this regard. I love it and am very happy with it. Also terrific value.**UPDATE** : I've now stuffed good insulating material into my enclosures, and packed it tight, as well as a "wrapper" of same over the top. Now I can use the water time all through the year, from within a dry garage, and keep my pond topped up automatically all year round. Perfect solution, and this gets round the "minimum 5 degrees" issue.

This timer is great value, so easy to use and configure.I got 2, one connected to pot watering system for flowers on a patio and this other to a sprinkler system for my vegetables. Both worked great during the summer last year.Work of warning, do not leave them out over the winter. The device is not rated for < 5 degrees, and one device broke during an icy spell of weather. I do not blame the manufacturer for this, I was not using them in winter and should have disconnected and put away until required.Would definitely recommend, once you automate some of your watering requirements, you will wonder why you did not do it sooner.

I used this to provide measured and timed watering to my greenhouse from water butts. It works a treat. Easy to setup too.

I bought these a while back, and now, in their third summer, they are still working well. Initially, I was concerned by some reviews about their durability, so I waited before writing my own review. Typically, the batteries last for one summer. These devices work great with water butts, eliminating the need for pressurized water. I use them with a self-watering drip feed system and am pleased to report that I’ve been very happy with their performance.

I perused many of these gadgets before selecting this one.Couldnt fault it initially, its easy to install, (or remove), and the programming couldnt be simpler or clearer.I disconnected over winter ( I read reviews that it doesn’t like frost.)I reinstalled in the springtime and with a change of batteries it seemed to be ready for a second season.Soon I discovered that it was flooding one area and dialled it down.The flooding continued and the other area plants started dying due to lack of water.After some testing I established that the product was malfunctioning.One outlet was permanently open, the other was permanently closed.Changed the battery, reset, no difference. The product had its first birthday yesterday.In conclusion, it’s a nice little product and will last about 11 months.I’m afraid I expected better. My misplaced confidence has cost me several plantsI can’t recommend this product

Simple and easy to use

I was not overly impressed with this unit. Setting up was straightforward enough however what I did find irritating was the fact I had to unscrew the cover to access the manual button. I used it for a couple of weeks then removed it replaced it with another make, and threw this one in the shed. Functionality and control was poor. No leakage when fitted correctly. BuildQuality ok but design very poor.

Works ok with low pressure feed but watch out for the batteries running out mid season and the valve being stuck in either the open or closed position. There is a low battery warning indicator but it’s quite small .
