from a review at the top left of the left lens, the word "polarised" is emblazoned in capital letters, is this correct

it is not "emblazoned". It is subtle you don't really notice it unless you look. the review from another person saying they weer trying to look like Raybans is wrong. Raybans are overpriced, heavy and fragile. These last for years.

I would say they are a dark grey lens

Do the glasses come with a case?

They only came with a soft pouch but luckily at the time I purchased them a promotion was on to get a free hard case

How are these lenses on really bright days

Both my wife and I have a pair of these glasses and we find them very comfortable and perfectly adequate to wear on bright days. In fact we have replaced them more than once with the same style after having lost a pair and having had a pair stolen, we like them so much.
