Great for the price.
It's a great machine,I purchased this rowing machine as I have bad knees so was looking for something to help build up my muscles, it's very big so make sure you have room, I only received mine today, there was slight damage when I got it, it's easy to move around, it took me a good 2 hours to put together đźâđš some bits required 2 people but I took it as a challenge 𫣠I contacted the seller to sort out the damage and I was quickly sent a new part to replace the damaged bit. Seller was fast at resolving the issue, would definitely recommend this rowing machine.

A decent, no frills, amateur air-rower fit for the average city-dweller.
As many reviewers have stated, this is no 'Concept Two' rower - but a cheaper, perhaps more portable equivalent aimed at the home fitness market. It's great for fitness, but it will not vastly improve your stroke technique either on the water or during indoor rowing competitions. Basically you will not get to front stops, the foot plates pivot with your stroke position (unlike a C2) and depending on your height, you may not get to back stops with enough chain left to move along your chest whilst rocking back. If you want that - have a look at the Lidl Crivit rower, however these are like gold dust and impossible to find as of Dec 2020.Enter this decent little part-self-assembly rower. When assembled correctly, it is a more than serviceable substitute for something you might find in any given gym - with the added plus that it folds away into a neat little art-décor piece in your room corner. The ability to fold away was a very necessary feature for me as I have very little space to use and stow it inside. Despite this, it fits pretty well (see pictures). I found the setup procedure well documented and was delighted to see all the tools needed are provided. As others have cautioned - be careful to ensure the wires near the main-rail's hinge (those that feed the rowing computer) are well clear when folding. It is all too easy to slice these when folding. When in use, the resistance is comparable to a standard air-rower. The fan gives a strong 'swuush' noise as most air-rowers do, so headphones are really needed if watching TV whilst rowing. Unlike the more posh rowers I have used, you do at least feel that air over your face which is great for cooling.Overall, a decent portable rower well suited for maintaining overall fitness and mobility.

Great company to deal with, sturdy machine.
Arrived damaged but the suppler was fantastic with communication and replacement. The machine itself is great, easy to put together and very sturdy. It feels like a quality machine.

Stop browsing and buy!
Fantastic value for money!! Amazing quality for such little cost! Had previous rowing equipment but this is the best by far. My Only complaint.. a little difficult to build from the instructions provided! Glad my son in law is an engineer.

Love it! Best Rowing Machine I've Experienced
Having suffered an injury earlier this year that has stopped me from running for a while, I thought the next best option would be a rowing machine, but I wasn't exactly pleased at the prospect as I've used rowing machines in gyms before and never got on with them. This machine has changed my mind about rowing machines and rowing as a form of exercise in general! It feels like a solid, well-built piece of kit and the rowing action is smooth and fluid. It's my first time using a fan-rower and I'm finding the "whoosh" of the fan really satisfying adding to the overall enjoyment of using the machine. It was quite fiddly to put together but very easy to use and particularly pleasing that you can go at a pace of your choosing, not one dictated by a setting on the machine. Highly recommended!

Rubbish.
Very disappointed with this product. I guess itâs cheap and I shouldnât have expected much in the way of quality. It was also broken (probably in transit) and not down to the seller. The machine is noisy, cheaply made and without any real resistance. You are best to avoid this machine and pay for something else.

Hard
This is fairly easy to assemble. I am quite strong for a 5 foot 2 lady, but this gives me a really hard workout. It seems to have a much higher initial resistance than the Concept2, making it quite difficult to have an initial light warmup, so maybe warmup before getting on it. It is noisy, as I'd expect of an air rower. The location of the wheel saves you some centimetres on size, but it means that you can't come in as much as you would be able to on the Concept 2, which then affects your stroke. I don't know how taller people use this. The location of the wheels makes it easy to move when fully assembled, but if you want to manoeuvre it when it's folded up, it's a bit of a pain. Overall, a very good rower. It got me in better shape and it got me doing more pull-ups than before.
