This item is everything I hoped for in a greenhouse, or indeed a house, thermometer. The casing is plastic, well-made and put together. No handbook, because there is no need - this thermometer works exactly as you'd expect, with one possible exception; being digital it uses a battery (included with the pack). It's important to remember this as it's not particularly greedy on battery power and we almost disposed of our thermometer when it stopped working after several years' uninterrupted usage. The thermometer shows the temperature now. You press 'clear' each morning, or whenever, to be rid of the existing figures for maximum and minimum. Next morning you can see how high and how low the temperature rose. This item is a fast responder, so if you have delicate plants and need to check urgently, this is the right one for you. You can choose centrigrade or farenheight, and the thermometer converts to either in a second. Great for a whole family of gardeners! This item is user-friendly for those with visual impairment; figures very readable and the 'clear' button easily located on the side. Lovely job, I really like it. Also it's a cute design.

Good accurate greenhouse thermometer, show highest and lowest temperatures, and does the job as its supposed to.

Product is ok but note on the box says it is not waterproof and shouldn't be left in the rain. As It was advertised as indoor/outdoor, I find this rather odd, S9 am returning for a refund.

Bought for a gift to replace a previous greenhouse thermometer, that had failed. This one is slightly different, with a positive benefit of having larger display. It is easier to read the temperature from the doorway, rather than having to enter the greenhouse. It is a neat size and looks good too. The green plastic casing is durable and although not waterproof works well inside my greenhouse. It comes in a card, branded presentation outer, that has simple to understand instructions printed. You remove the plastic filament to allow the included battery to operate. Then it shows the current temperature, minimum and also maximum for the day, which you reset with the press of a button. The current price is good value for money, in my opinion.

Great greenhouse thermometer.

I ordered this item one afternoon, it was delivered 9.30am the following day. Now that's what I call service. As soon as you open the packet you just know that this is not your usual cheap c**p that will pack up inside 6 months, this max/min thermometer is built to last. Including postage I paid £11 and it is worth every penny. Easy to set up (in seconds) and with the large digital read-out, you can easily read it from a distance. The green plastic case seems 'bombproof'. Finally, for those of us of 'mature' years you can have the temperature in either Centigrade or Farenheit. What more do you want. It's so good it can't possibly be made in China!!!

Everything great but only lasted one year. The LCD screen has disappeared. It was working happily, when I noticed the screen disappear. Changed the batteries, checked for corrosion (none). Nothing will make it work again. It has been kept in a dry greenhouse all year and well looked after. Until then, it has been great, easy to read, accurate, just what I needed.

Assolutamente perfetto per monitorare i picchi termici nella serra, resettandolo quotidianamente si ha un'idea della curva termica giornaliera, a mio avviso perfettamente adatto anche per il monitoraggio generico in esterni
