I used these lights for Under Cabinet lighting as well as ToeKick lighting. I used 5 different sets and paired them all to 1 remote. This is working very well for me. Honestly, I couldn’t be more thrilled. These lights were the finishing touch on a ground up kitchen remodel that I did all by myself over the last 18 months. I’m THRILLED with these lights. Bought 2 of these for under vanity night lighting. This stuff is inexpensive as it gets, and it shows. The density of chips is very low, so your best bet is to use them inside the channels with opaque lens. The strips have 3-pin connectors directly to each other or with provided spacers, and you can cut the extra, so there is plenty of flexibility. The problem is that the controller is soldered to the first strip (why not use the same connector?!), and that soldered connection failed on one of two units. Had to replace through Amazon, and finally got them both working. Any remote controls both connectors, so easy to sync the temp and dim. So, you pay little, but it takes extra money (channels) and work to achieve the result.

Gets the job done and works very well in my kitchen and island counter. I love the dimmable light setting due to its ability to be used as a night light. The strip sizes were perfect and the brightness of color is outstanding along with the adhesive and durability of the strips. The remote control is small and cute.

I bought two sets of these after reading a bunch of reviews--& while the reviews were mixed, I figured I'd take a chance on them. Bottom line: don't waste your money or your time on these. Within two weeks, both sets that I purchased were completely useless.Initially when these arrived & before I hung them up the kitchen, I did a test by plugging them in and testing the remote. Everything seemed to check out, so I spent a fair amount of time arranging & adhering them to the underside of the counter. Once complete, they looked great & worked great. The different cool/warm colors and brightness options were awesome so I was very pleased.However, within three days, the lights started coming on by themselves. In the middle of the night, the lights were come on, bright as ever--& stay on all night long. Occasionally, during the day, they would come on and stay on...and after awhile, the remote completely stopped working--& thr lights were completely unresponse to any input unless I pressed on the receiver, which would only turn the lights on or off, all brightness/hue adjustment capability gone. I thought maybe it was just the first set/box that I hung, so I switched out the receiver & remote from the second box, but the exact same thing happened. So the lights are worthless--& worse yet, the adhesive is taking off the finish on the underside of my cabinets where I pasted them.Save your time and your energy...don't bother with these.

DO NOT PUT THEM NEAR/AROUND A MICROWAVE!!! I installed these lights under my cabinets about 1 week ago. They lit up great. Illuminated my counter tops very well and did much better than the underside microwave light. I liked the different colors also and brightness. I can't speak on the longevity of them but I can say this....do not put the controller within 10 ft of your microwave. When both the lights and microwave are on, the LED controller box will short out the microwave amd trip the breaker. I spent an hour trying figure out what was going on. At first I thought the LEDs plugged into the outlet below the microwave was too much demand on the circuit. But realized that the microwave has its own circuit with its own breaker. I tried other appliances on the counter as well. The microwave only shut off and tripped the breaker when the lights were on! I even moved the LED controller about 5 feet away, it took a couple seconds longer but still tripped the microwave! It has to do with the signal from the controller interfering with the micro-waves. I'd give it a 2 star bc of this reason and the potential to wreck my microwave but otherwise they are pretty good lights from what I can tell.
