Dose it mater witch side of cabin filter you put air freshener on ?

I installed mine on the filtered side of the filter. In other words, the side that the "air flow arrow" is pointing towards. Also, be sure to note which way this arrow is facing BEFORE removing the filter and replace the filter with the arrow facing that same direction.

Lasted about 2 weeks and then the scent was gone. Better off with your standard freshener. It was worth a shot.
