Update Heavy Duty Rear Coil Springs Kit Compatible with Ram 1500 2009-2018 2wd 4wd Provide an Extra 50% Load Capacity-2 Pack

First of all, I have to say that these arrived quickly. The built quality/paint quality appears high. The paint was applied very well and even. These are heavier than the factory ones. I was able to easily remove the old ones by jacking up the truck from the frame, just in front of the axle, removing the tire and the bottom shock bolt. I put a smaller bottle jack under the side of the axle I was working on the raise and lower. I also placed a jack stand under the frame for safety. Simply lower the axle, push up on the factory spring from the lower mount, and pull out carefully. Remove the rubber isolator from the top of the old spring and place on top of the new spring. Put the new spring back in place and use the bottle jack to jack the axle up and make sure that the spring is seated in the upper seat (the lower one will self-center). Bolt the shock back, torque to 100ft/lbs and put the tire back on. The truck sits around 1.5-2” higher on my truck with a fully loaded tool box. You will immediate notice the difference in added support. The ride is not much rougher from factory, and is surprisingly good. Body roll feels a bit different, possibly due to stronger spring rate in rear and softer, factory rate in front? It took a little getting used to, as I have had my truck for 7 years. The real benefit is hooking up the trailer. There is a drastic difference in squat and much less, “porpoising” while driving fully loaded. Our travel trailer is much more stable. The weight distributing hitch does not have to be set as high, and frankly, the truck was completely level. We are on a two week trip and I drove the trailer almost 900 miles through Texas, New Mexico and into the mountains of Colorado. I am extremely pleased with the performance of these springs. Air Bags and heavier bump-stops never made sense, as these springs are the best alternative and are cheaper than the other options. If you tow and carry heavy loads, this will help tremendously.

Purchased these springs for my 2015 dodge ram 1500. Stock springs were soft and truck squatted with even light trainers or not much weight. Instillation was very easy and took about an hour. Ride isn’t much stiffer than stock and kinda feels better. Haven’t hook a trailer to it yet but new springs are more stout than stock ones so i’m sure it will make a huge difference. Will update when i finally hook a trailer up.

Fit well and so far are a good replacement for the original springs that had been on for 76k miles. We haul horses and a travel trailer as well as load up with hay etc and time will tell how these stand up to those requirements. Ride does feel better with less body roll and is not so harsh that you feel every bump.

Good product

Just put these springs on yesterday and the difference is clear. My truck is no longer sitting on the bump stops. I drove it for a short ride and it feels great. I have not towed with them yet but i am hopeful they will be good to go. The springs are the same size as stock but support the truck much better. Installation was straight forward. I used a Spring compressor i bought here on amazon to get the old ones out and the new ones in. Just had to jack it up and take the wheel off. Be sure to jack it from the frame so the wheel can drop. I will update this review once I drive it a while and do some towing, but so far I am beyond happy with them.

Needed a heavy duty spring for hauling my 800lb 4 wheeler in the bed of my 2018 Ram 1500. These springs work great. No sag with the load and keeps the factory rake when bed is empty. I feel they actually improved the handling of the truck. Easy 10min install. I 100% recomend.

Was a 5 star spring, worked great until they broke. 1yr 6mo later (almost to the day) driving down the road and bang, coil spring broke in half. If you don't hardly haul a load they will be fine, for someone who uses the truck for work and has the box loaded everyday expect the same. Bummed out to say the least.

I used these in my 17 Ram 1500. The factory springs were garbage. The truck would squat with 100lbs in the back. I installed these springs an it raised the rear almost an inch and the ride is nice not to stiff. The truck rides level with my 29 foot travel trailer attached. Much better than factory garbage! I didn't want to start messing with airbags.

Solo cambia que opondrá más resistencia a la nivelación de la batea cuando está cargada y no se bajara tanto como los OE, más aún si ya estaban vencidos.

Deffnitly an upgrade from the stock springs easy to install as I already had coil spacers put in not long ago Took me 30 mins with impact. Installed them and went and loaded my truck with fire wood right aways ussualy get a good amount of sag on my factory springs not as bad with these.. Ride quality still the same Not bad for the price

Fit on my 2021 RAM 1500 classic, no more squat from my ATV. Sits nicely where its supposed to!
