Works well to start grill. (I’m sure will do the same for a fire when it cools off.) Agree with others that there is a floral scent out of package but doesn’t transmit when lit.

So very simple to use, they start to burn quickly and cleanly.

I will never use messy kindling again. One chunk lights the fire every time.

Works fine for fireplace if you set it up with thin kindling.

Ease of lighting them — the squares are small so they don’t last long but but they do work to build a small fire. It just takes about 5-6 cubes to start a fire

I like this product. It is easy to lite and smells nice. Much easier than using a chimney, electric, looflighter, etc... Can go out if you cover it up but I have learned how to place it within the charcoal.
