I’ve been really pleased with the Oxbow Western Timothy Hay — it smells fresh, has long green strands, and my rabbit absolutely loves it. It keeps him busy chewing and supports his digestion well. The only downside is that the bag can be a bit pricey and sometimes has some dust at the bottom, but the overall quality makes it worth it for my bunny’s health.

I bought this mainly for the guinea pigs but I let the rabbits taste and they loved it. its more expensive than other top "king" brand for this type of hay but it gets my rabbits approval than I will have to buy this again for sure it smells lovely and fresh it's green just what you would expect hay to be. The downside to the packaging is no carry handle but it does seal well to keep it clean n fresh.

I got this and the Orchard Hay and my rabbits love this, I have tried all brands of hay and this they love. It is important to realise that hay is not a supplement is should be their main food with the likes of vegetable and rabbit food as the supplement.My 2 girls eats more than twice as much of this compared to all the other brands I have tried, okay it is not the cheapest in fact it is the most expensive you can get but its the best. It does come from the USA and it seems that their hay is slightly thicker and rougher than what we would get in the UK but they seem to love it more. The UK stuff is now what I would use in their bedding and the Oxbow as a feed.

My guinea pig is 10 years old and I am very conscious on what he eats and this is perfect, he adores it! Only problem is the price it is far more pricey than the timothy hay in pets at home- Please lower this if you can! thanks so much

This hay is one of the best we have ever had for our guinea piggies. Its a vibrant green colour, sweet smelling and long stemmed. Our boars just snaffle it up. It is on the expensive side but we have ordered a few bags now and there is barely any dust left at the bottom of the bag. You know its great hay when they are begging for treats and this is enough to stop them 😘

My guinea pigs love this hay. I don't normally buy it off amazon as it's far too expensive, but I needed it last minute. Lovely fresh big stems of hay. Nice and green and not like the horrible brown straw type hay you get.

I bought this timothy hay for my two guinea pigs. I have tried a variety of different hays previously- the £1.50 bag from home bargains, the Pets at Home brand, the highly-rated Excel timothy hay and finally this one, the Oxbow.I would just like to say that this hay is amazing and by far the best of all my previous tests. It has a fresh, lovely smell, the hay is the greenest I have ever seen (by comparison the excel hay is nearly brown!) and my guinea pigs, after a small and fussy adjustment period, now literally jump for joy when they hear the bag rustling.My guinea pigs go through a bag of 1.1kg in around 10-14 days, so for cost effectiveness I've now decided to buy on subscription the 4kg bag!There are criticisms, however. The main two criticisms are:1. THE PRICE. Ye Gods, I know you get what you pay for, but I'm a student and this amazing hay (which I'm certain is the best for my piggies) is really emptying out my pockets. Somebody should start a petition for a price drop or something.2. THE BOTTOM OF THE BAG. The last 8th/10th of the bag is always just very fine, very tiny strands of less than 2cms, completely inedible to my guineas. For the price I would like to see the full bag loaded with long strands and nothing but long strands.To summarize, if you love your animals and you want the best hay around for them, Oxbow is easily the best supplier on the market!

Although I'm a fan of Oxbow.. my guineas like to eat a different brand that comes with longer strands.I have tried 2 or 3 different ones from Oxbow and this is all cut short.The longer strands really make them happy so I will only purchase these as backup from now on.It is what the box says. As usual Oxbow is reliable..

Questo fieno di per sé è molto buono forse uno dei migliori. Ho acquistato diversi sacchi dello stesso fieno in negozio e ho notato che sono completamente diversi. Quello acquistato qui per me è il migliore e lo noto dal profumo, dal colore bello verde e dai fili di fieno spessi e duri ed è pieno di queste spighe verdi. I miei conigli lo adorano! Come lo apro loro arrivano! Dopo svariati ordini posso dire che il fieno acquistato é sempre arrivato perfetto!

Je n utilise que ce foin pour mon cochon d inde avec le "Botanical Hay". Ces foins sont parfaits de grands brins verts avec des petits épis (miam) bien frais et très bas en calcium. Mon cobaye ayant des problèmes urinaires de sablose elle ne peut manger que ce foin de fleole. Elle l adore. Très bon pour la santé

Loved the quality of the hay. It’s green and dust free. Previously I was using different hay and my rabbits were not that interested to eat those. But these my rabbits absolutely love it. They just come running of wherever they are when they listen me opening the hay pack ans start digging in.
