Yatoyt-21840 – Tube Bender 6 – 10 mm

I had some plumbing work to do and rather than the usual joints I bought this item which made for a very tidy job

It was very stiff to operate when I received it. I used WD40 on the joint and gave it a good back and forth work-out and it loosened up. The bender works best when a slow and steady operation is performed so as not to crease team copper pipe. My only complaint is that the lock bar leaves a dent in the pipe.

Found the mechanism a little stiff, but other than that, worked perfectly. Purchased for an aircon install, and created perfect 90 degree and 45 degree bends with no kinks.

This pipe bender arrived today. They say they use high quality materials to produce top quality tools, but this arrived with large casting holes in it, very poor quality control. Guess the manufacturer isn’t too bothered, stack em high, sell em cheap, stuff the quality.Graham

Habe mir das Gerät gekauft, um die Gasleitung im Camper zu verlegen. Das Biegen von 10mm und 8mm Stahlgasleitungen ist damit einfach zu bewerkstelligen. Enger Radius, ohne Querschnittveränderung möglich. 10mm Rohr gebogen. 8x 90 Grad und 1x 45 Grad, 8mm Rohr gebogen. 7x 90 Grad hat super funktioniert und bei mir ist kein Griff abgebrochen. Optisch sieht es hochwertiger aus. Bei der Handhabung sollte man jedoch Grundkenntnisse haben, wann welche Kräfte auftreten. Klare Kaufempfehlung von mir.

Das Teil funktioniert ganz gut. Aber bei 10 mm kommt es an seine Grenzen. Mit den hebeln sind die nicht mehr machbar. Dann braucht man eine Verlängerung und am besten auch einen Schraubstock.
