A surprisingly high quality product. Cheaper than the big name "powder" suppliers out there (and of course no expensive long winded delivery with Prime). Tastes great and easy to mix. Yes ok its grainy at times but its pure oats so to be expected! And the nutrients are very very reasonable. A good level of protein, carbs and fibre - and of course very low sugar and salt. The bags are a good size and comes with a scoop. I use 2 scoops with a pint of milk, for after boxing.

I used these oats alongside dextrose for my post workout shake. I also mix them with yoghurt for a balanced snack. Ideal for people who want to increase calories, cook with oats or just plain enjoy eating oats without the texture of normal oats. Don't be fooled, oats can't be milled to the point that they completely dissolve into water or milk so your shake will take on a texture of being quite 'bitty'. If you can't handle that, don't buy these. But if you can, these are perfect. And a bargain too. Recommended!

These oats are ground so well they mix into protein shakes easily. They are un-flavoured. The bag is a good size and good value for money. The only downside is I find the expiry date can be a little short.

Great quality oat carbs. Mixes into drinks very easily and is great if you want to bulk or add calories to your diet. I’m weight lifting and this was great to balance out my macros as I am always low on carbs. Also going to try their maltodextrin. Packaging was good. Scoop included. I add to shakes etc.

Great for making oat cakes using banana and egg as a healthy snack, filling and nice taste not to mention oats are a good source of fibre

Decent price but no where near the consistency of my protein. These are grainy when mixed and not as fine a powder by comparison (so doesn't mix aswell well or taste as smooth) Will stick to my protein in future.

Use this in ooking both sweet and savoury and have found it to be excellent, especially in baked oats and savoury muffins. I would certainly buy again.

I have been buying from Bulk for quite some time now, and this latest batch of Ultra Fine Scottish Oats was a massive letdown. Something went seriously wrong with the quality control on this packet. These oats are supposed to be professionally steamed and stabilised to deactivate the lipase enzymes, but the heat treatment clearly failed. Within just a few days of opening the bag, I noticed a distinct and off-putting smell whenever I unsealed it. The powder rapidly developed a highly noticeable sour odour smelling almost like stale, spoiled milk. The texture itself remained fine and free-flowing, and because there were no visible clumps, it was not a standard mould issue. The fats in the ultra-fine powder had clearly oxidised and broken down at an alarming rate. If you are going to mill oats into such a fine powder, your stabilisation process needs to be flawless. Otherwise, a basic dietary supplement turns into a genuine health hazard. I had to throw almost the entire bag straight into the bin. Total waste of money.
